I really do think we have to give Aberdeen credit for a good game today.

Agreed. Derek McInnes has made a big difference for them. Think you will see Nicky Weaver in goal for them, from now on, he looks a much better goalie than Langfield to me.

I agree. They stiffled us. But our selection hampered us. Sammy up top means we lack width, so it took a while to get going. But Aberdeen did press us and got at us. With better finishing, they could have really made a game of it. After the red, it was sown up. I thought it was a good game.

It definitely was. I thought even with ten men Aberdeen remained a viable threat, and that's an achievement in itself.

True enough. You just need to look at McGinns header. Either side of Forster and it was a goal. It bodes well for this season. We should walk it but a strong challenge will be welcome.

And 20,000 for a 1230 ko is brilliant. Armaggedon indeed

I'm certain Lennon must have told them not to run at their full backs and try and get to the byline before crossing the ball in because Izzy and Matthews didn't do it at all, we were lacking width and a wide player to attack their fullbacks. Izzy couldn't beat their right back either and had a hard day but still had a good game.

I think the game would have been so much easier for us if we played it wide more often and attacked the byline instead of crossing in hope it reaches a player from anywhere!

Their right back was utterly terrified of Izzy, who put some excellent balls into the box. I had him as my man of the match

Some of Izaguirre's crossing today was magnificent - especially when he was in full flow. The one that Brown nearly got on the end of was the best of the day - I can only hope that he and Amido Balde will make a formidable partnership if the big man can successfully get on the end.

    Brilliant.

Good performance going there and coming away with 3 points and another away clean sheet .....Izzy has been getting back to his best these last few games and had another good game today ...

Izzy and Kayal looked better today, was a tough away day.Only remembered Forster having to make one good save, apart from that Aberdeen never troubled us too much, played with 11 men behind the ball for a lot of the game.
