Especially if big Frazer goes then surely to goodness we need to be bringing in some real proven quality to revitalise the team. No projects just proven pedigree and first team quality. Lets not blow this get out of jail free card Celtic!

Strikers/Wingers please. No *. I'd rather just not spend anything than penny pinch over this. Let's show a bit of ambition while we have the parachute of money in the bank.

I don't trust Mulgrew anywhere near the starting lineup at the moment. I don't see what he brings. He hasn't been himself for a couple of seasons now.

I do somewhat agree with your statement but feel pukki needs one season to prove himself, kayal in my opinion is a very poor player, he isn't disciplined enough to play a holding midfield role and Derek has proved he is still injury prone as he was at ajax
Celtic need some pace and guile up front and pace out wide, gms from dundee united could be worth a punt

I think holding midfield/anchorman is our need at the moment....our defence is getting sliced open at will and I think Wanyama is still a huge loss and we haven't came close to filling that.

The spine of your team is more crucial than anything else.... Forster-Wilson-Wanyama-Commons-Hooper is one * of a spine, to go from that to Gordan (with Forster leaving)-VanDijk-Mulgrew-Commons-Stokes is catastrophic. Van Dijk-Amborse partnership just hasn't worked in Europe, Mulgrew is a laughably poor DM, Commons has aged and is now worse in Europe and Stokes shouldn't be anywhere near our starting striker.

Address the spine first, DM, possibly CB and a striker are most important. Than you worry about wingers and back up LB's and the like.

What do you mean by another revolt ? Could you tell when the two previous revolts were held and what were there outcomes?

I think P Lawwell and all managers for the last 20 years would say that they never signed deadwood . Just as some signings can become brilliant players within a couple of seasons, others can actually deteriorate, but Celtic did not sign them for that reason .
Buying a player is always a gamble . Just ask Chelsea fans who saw their club pay £50m for Torres . Liverpool paid an arm and a leg for Carroll and a season later took a massive loss on him to get rid . West Ham spent £27 m for him and got nothing .

Let's hope our new players, if we get any, hit the ground running .

£15M but see what you're saying.

Some of the buys for me though last season seemed a bit panacked and not well researched enough. Boeriggter came with a huge sicknote reputation which we should have foreseen and Pukki goal-scoring record didn't exactly scream great striker and Hooper replacement. Not to mention Schalke still didn't want him when Huntelaar and their other striker was injured leaving just Pukki and they still sold him, that should have sent out warning signals.

If we go with the current team minus big Fraser we will be out on our * Maribor would hump it. This current Celtic team is * no matter the formation/ line up. The legend Mr Stein wouldn't be able to get this lot through to the group stages. We all seen it a month ago the fact we should have been bringing in players, but that's why the accountant and his chancellery opted for the manger they did.....'your getting * all to spend' type. You have to take your hat off to we Ronny, the fact he has the balls to give it a go where Keane and these cheque book * looked away is legendary......I will back the wee man to the hilt!

We have been given a lifeline by Uefa, however drastic changes need to be made if we are going to benefit from that lifeline. Contrary to lots of posters i don't believe the team has gone from 99 points last year and virtually unbeaten all season to "a bunch of *" as some posters say.

So there are 3 things that could change in order for us to progress.

    1. Fetch in new signings, get them to play together as a team, to Ronnies tactics, within the next 10 days, sorry this is not going to happen.

    2. Get Ronnie to alter his tactics/team selection, stop playing Griffiths wide right, play izzy, play Matthews and get the dressing room back, anyone who has watched our first 4 games can see he has totally lost the players. Sorry this is not going to happen either.

    3. Admit we made a huge mistake bringing in a manager totally out of his depth, who has tried to implement changes far to fast, without even knowing his best team/positions, playing a brand new striker who has been with his teamates less than 2 days.

Out of all 3 options there is only option number 3 that can happen, whether it will or not, i very much doubt, but i sincerely believe that unless we make that drastic change we will get pumped out in the next two games and lose this lifeline we have been offered, to gain a potential 18 - 20 million.

Admit we got it wrong and give ourself a chance, I have never witnessed 4 displays as bad as these, even when TM was in charge.

Disagree with you, the last two games weren't good, lacked creativity to say nothing about the defence but they planned well against Reykjavik although they were really mediocre. The reserves capitulated against Spurs but you can't judge someone after 4 games and a bitty pre season.

starting to think we wont sign anyone, no matter who leaves until we are confirmed in the CL groups and if we don't get there then our youngsters need to step up to the mark.

The squad we have does not suit Deila, he needs to be at least given the chance to bring in players he thinks will suit his style and be allowed to have a crack at doing things his way.

A couple of wingers and a target man or in the box striker and i think we'll be getting somewhere. Hopefully if we have quality going forward we won't end up so disorganised at the back.

Look i am sorry but Reykjavik were not mediocre, they were shocking and so was our 1 nil win over there, the game at murrayfield, showed how bad they were, when pukki can score like he did.

But why don't we get a proven CL goal scorer in on a free before the Maribor game, someone tall, lots of pace, knows the players, can find his way to Parkhead, probably still got a fooking locker there, or am i just stating the blinding obvious, letting him go was our second big mistake, the first being letting lenny walk without finding out what it would have taken to persuade him to stay.

Id love to see us bring in 2 players before the maribor game preferably a natural winger & penalty box striker the hopefully get thru to group stages then sign another 3 players a centre half, left back coz Izzy doesnt look at the races at all & a central midfielder who will play alongside Broonie & johansson but what I want to happen & what will happen are 2 different things.

I wished we tried to get Brede hangeland on a free instead of Palace signing him & would like to see us steal Stevie May from Sheffield Wed or Rotherham signing him.

Deila - "I want to build a team who could last for many years," he explained. "It is my responsibility but I need time to get players in.

    Fail right away.

He will never have a team that will last for many years. If we are successful, our players will be sold for profit.

So Ronny better keep up this current form and hope he can keep his job, coz thats the only way he'll be able to build a team he can run for years.
