Basically the same team that played against Helsinborg away. As good as Ambrose looks I wouldn't trust him for a match of this magnitude given he couldn't have had two easier matches to start off his career - I like him but I think it's just too much of a risk. Wilson has a bit more experience for us and is on top form right now. In midfield, if both were 100% fit I'd go with Ledley as Kayal was poor against Helsinborg. However, Kayal may be fitter and if he is I'd go with him.

Overall, quite a good team I think and with Forrest coming on for the last 30 mins to tear their defence to shreds I fancy us to win.

 

I think a draw would be a cracking result away to Moscow and I think that it is certainly achiveable so fingers crossed

 

A draw is the best we can hope for ,but lets be realistic its going to be a massive task.

A draw in Moscow would be a fine result. Lenny has The Bhoys in good form right now. I think Samaras will play on the left instead of Forrest and that will be the only change from the line up today, unless he wants to pick Joe at LB or in midfield.

I totally forgot about him mate... It's so tough but I'd drop one of Kayal and Ledley, bring Brown into the middle of the park and play Commons on the right.

 

Im thinking now Celtic might get a draw from this one .

 

I reckon we are more than capable of a draw as Spartak are no great shake.

I think we might struggle with this team, but would like to think we could score, and the player that could do it is SAMMY from a corner, he looks the most confident.

Give Sammy the freedom of the forward line and let him run riot. I am very confident of getting a least a draw in this game. I dunno if Hooper could fit into that position, but I definitely think Sammy should play up top

This role would require discipline from Commons but he would be the one to link up with Samaras and try and play Hooper through to finish off the chances.​

Samaras to float about that space inbetween defence and midfield, did anyone watch Fellaini against Man United earlier on this season? That's the role we want him in. Fed the ball up to his chest with Hooper inbetween the two centre backs, occupying there attention. ​

We need to be very careful here, with a lot of defensive cover, Ambrose and Mulgrew ability to play the ball out from the back to be very important along with Izzy and Matthews pace. ​

Wanyama, Ledley and Brown need to put in a shift and feed it to our ball players. What we need is just one of they oppurtunitys that Gary Hooper will feed on.​

 

Sammy is needed in this game. He always does well away in europe.

I am confident that we can we here, don't know why.
