Not always Hooper's biggest fan and definitely not Kelvin Wilson's - but neither of the two deserve to be dropped with their recent form.

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
From the official site - a further question from a Russian Journo - "if you were to need a help financially as a Club, would you ring Sean Connery?"

This was apparently deadly serious as well. * brilliant.

I'm surprisingly optimistic about this game. I have feeling we will concede very early but then have a very good game and come out with a result.

Funny thing about translation, I just read the question in Russian and it sound more like this: " When Russian clubs are in financial troubles they ask Putin for help. If your club requires financial help whom would you ask? May be Sean Connery?".
The whole question looks like humour since people know that it is probably only in Russia a football club can ask for financial help from president and have high chances to receive it...

i heard a few top notch saratk players are out so this must give us some hope surely but what tersam does lenny pit out...

    ----------------------forster-----------------------

    lustig-----------K.Wilson?--------Ambrose-------izzy

    --------------------Wanyamha------------------

    forrest--------Broony----------Ledley----------sammy

    or

    ------------------------Forster--------------------------

    Matthews?----------Rogne---------Mulgrew---------Izzy

    Broony----------Wanyama-----------Ledley--------Commons

    -----------Hooper----------------------Miku-----------------

What ever team lenny puts out we must score the first goal coz in the past thats always been our down fall, lose a goal early bang chasing game,Wont happen this time though!!!

Remembewr Sparatk have no points so they will push on,so if i was lenny id go 4-5-1 as we will crack them open on the break hooperrrrr or commons, wee forrest bombing down the wing,Then we have McGeady Running at us but if matthews is fit he'll eat him 4 breakfast,Well i hope.

Even a draw could put us second if Barca beat benfica in lisbon,Theres no-way b
enfica will beat barca no way so a draw would be great if that happened but even greater than that would be a win,WOW 4 points and in 2nd place with barca top on 6 points, then Benfica on 1 and sparatk on none,Now Thats What I'm praying for so come on bhoys just get intae them from the off but just be careful

    1-2 or 2-2

    FCSM back-up keeper

Pesyakov was confident while playing for reserves, as well as in the last game against Amkar.

The only hope you may have is that he will have some misunderstanding with his new defencemen, who are from Argentina and Czech, that's it.

Who is your first choice keeper? Rebrov, Dikan or Pesyakov? Or am I missing someone obvious? :52:

Edit: Dikan started at the Nou Camp so I assume it's him. Is he injured? By the looks of things your goalkeeper situation isn't the best.

Forrest can be Impact sub of the bench around the 60th minute, as in Helsinki
Could also put Izzy on the left, pushing Mulgrew into Ambrose's position.

Yes it does and as a result I'm going to miss at least the first twenty five minutes as I won't be home from work in time. :48:

I'm genuinely unsure, which means Lennon must have a headache. Hooper and Commons are in red hot form so you think they both should play. Samaras and Forrest are crucial to a counter attacking style. Brown will play and Ledley is our big game player. In an ideal world both Ambrose and Wanyama start. Wilson hasn't put a foot wrong for weeks and Mulgrew is a stalwart. That's not taking into account Miku was basically signed to bolster our European squad.

So basically someone is going to be unhappy whatever he goes for, probably the majority of this forum:56:

Thankfully managed to get the night off work for this. Unfortunately my dad's away on holiday and all my pals are zombies so I'll be watching this one from behind the sofa by myself!

It's going to be a tough one, but we've a decent record away to Russian teams in recent years, having drawn against Spartak in 2007 and beating Dynamo 2-0 in 2009. I'm anticipating we'll probably end up with a narrow defeat here but with the way we're playing I'm quietly confident, and with a bit of luck could possibly sneak a result of some sorts.

It's going to be a long 90 minutes though, that's for sure!

Scott Brown was also asked a few bizarre questions by the Russian journalist. He asked Broony if Celtic players watch Braveheart before their games (haha)... Scott Brown, struggling to keep a straight face answered... "Yes we watch Braveheart, & before every game we also put our kilts on & all dance together..." :56::56:
