The problem is if you introduce it for one person, you open up a can of worms and what's to stop others being executed who aren't as bad as him.

I don't think people like him would care if they got killed. He won't be treated well in prison. I think it will be far worse in fact.

You talk about cost, pretty sure the American system on execution costs them more than a life sentence. Have to go through appeals, keep them under constant surveillance etc. I think it's something like 5m more than life without parole.

Hopefully the scum bag will get beat up very frequently so he is disfigured and will then wish he was dead, any rights he had about being treated as a human being disappeared after his barbaric actions that terrible day.
