    Not been as good as you'd have hoped but not that bad either. Two teams have lacked a bit of quality, not the same teams they were which makes it quite sad to watch.

    Brazil were lucky. Truly awful in the first half and David Luiz * up again. He just went for a stroll leaving a massive gap for Argentina to play into behind him. Argentina should have had few in that half.

    Brazil x Peru at midnight from the Fonte Nova in Salvador.

    Earlier Ecuador won 3 x 1 away to Venezuela. Four wins from four for them now and they are pulling away from the rest of the pack and with their home altitude advantage they should qualify now. Colombia lost at home to Argentina 1 x 0 and so move up but still very close in the pack.

    Uruguay x Chile live now, Cavani hoping to keep his * free of Gonzalo Jara's fingers.

    The Copa Sudamericana final will be between Santa Fe of Colombia and Huracán of Argentina. Huracán only won promotion to the top flight last season and now they are in their first "international" final since 1921.

    Santa Cruz are back in Seria A for the first time since 2006. Their fall seen them drop all the way to the fourth division, but they still remained one of the best supported teams in Brazil.

    Last round of games in Brazil. Coritiba at home to Vasco da Gama. Vasco have to win to stay up and Coritiba need the win just to make sure. They will probably stay up no matter the result but they will be nervous and in need of a Corinthians win (very likely).
