    Boca have decided to give this sensible looking guy, Mauro Martin back his season ticket/club membership. This comes after a court ruling in Martin's favour.

    They are national celebrities in Argentina and both are on the front page of Clarín today - Argentina's biggest newspaper. A story of the two, from friends, to enemies and back to friends. With all the drama of numerous gang fights, long jail sentences, kidnapping family members and murder.

    Both are hardened criminals who play a large role with Barra Brava/fan group/hooligan group/organised criminal gang La 12. By giving them back their tickets (probably due to some inner political manoeuvring) they have put themselves on a collision course with the normally passive (on this issue) police force. They have come out and said that if these two are able to get into the stadium they will not provide the game with security.

    And speaking of crime. Freddy Rincón, ex-Colombia, Corinthians, Real Madrid etc has been put back on Interpols wanted list, in connection with money laundering and drugs.

    That is an old photo, probably before he went to jail for four years. Here he is a few weeks ago in Venezeula for a game against Zamora. Looking a bit worse for wear.

    Guy is nothing but a career criminal. The money they make is crazy as well. They control the entire area around the ground and have their trapitos out on the streets collecting money from parked cars. And its not just £1 giving to a wee kid to watch your car on match day like it is here. Just one game and they can make $30,000 over there.

    Anyway, Boca will keep these two out for the first derby but they may be back for the next one on Thursday this week.

    Tigres UANL had their games moved forward so that they didn't coincide with the Liguilla - Clausura. They go through 3 x 2 on aggregate. If they make it to the semi's they'll have a two-month break for the Copa America and the fixture pile up will be over.

    River x Boca for 1AM tonight. Montevideo Wanderers x Racing Club before that then Emelec x Atlético Nacional after.
