People really need to get off their high horse, no one is calling anyone here neds, we're just saying that song and type of music is generally a bit 'neddish'.

I can't believe this thread has 7 pages, my personal opinion is it's an absolute pish tune that I would expect to here blasted out a stupidly coloured Fiesta with a big noisy exhaust rather than sung at Celtic park.

I love singing at the football but cringe anytime people try to start this song, I can't stand it. It has nothing to do with Celtic

Personally i cant see it being played over the tannoys at CP.

The song is not 'ned pish' as some have suggested.

The song is a dance track. Plenty of people of all backgrounds listen to dance music...lawyers, emergency crew, police..professionals etc....does that make them neds?

Anyway, back on topic, I love dance music as well, frequented dance clubs for years and saw heavyweight DJ's in Ibiza like Judge Jules etc, this stuff is heavier though, faster and more repetitive, usually given names like 'happy hardcore' or 'rave', and no matter what anyone says, is widely associated with neds, that's a fact.

It would sound ridiculous at Parkhead and make us a laughing stock in my opinion.

My mate was at the hearts game and after we scored the song was played and a young guy wanted to know why were singing a Saturdays song.he said the look on the boys face was priceless when he said its actually depeche mode.the boy hadn't a clue who they were.lol
