67 Hail Hail understands that Celtic have officially launched a bid to bring in Norwegian playmaker Sondre Ørjasæter on a permanent deal from Sarpsborg 08 this month.

The 21-year-old is highly thought of and has interested parties across Europe also considering moves for his services.

And we at 67 Hail Hail can exclusively reveal that one of those clubs to already submit a proposal to his club in a rival attempt to the Hoops is French outfit Lille.

Sarpsborg do not want to lose their star in this window but it is understood a bid of around £7million might be enough to convince them otherwise.

Ørjasæter has two years left on his contract with his current club which allows them to seek top dollar for their player.

He racked up six goals and seven assists in his most recent campaign and is seen as a strong alternative to what Celtic already have on their wings including new boy Jota, Daizen Maeda, Nicolas Kuhn and Yang

 

Left mate but like Jota, looks like he could play on the right as well. Some of the clips from his reels he's off the right, but predominantly left..

I wasn't as buzzing about Jota because I wanted someone like Orjasaeter in..

If we could get both then * me we'd be ridiculously strong on the wings..

 

This boy looks good, predominantly plays on the left, but is versatile and could cover on the right.
I wonder if this is forward planning for Kuhn leaving in the summer ?

I'd much prefer a CF or a big dynamic box to box midfielder as we have enough wingers as it stands however, If we could get those two in as well as KT then I'd promise never to say another bad word about our board

 

*, Lille looks like they'll be an enticing offer. 5th in Ligue 1, above us in the CL (beaten Real and Atletico this year), other Scandinavians in the team which shows they have contacts scouting there and just the fact I often feel players would rather go to 1 of the big 5 leagues over us.

 

I doubt we could register both for CL. And I think both would like to be in that squad. Maybe Orjasaeter is a planned summer signing?

We don't have many appealing things to offer, other than CL. The CP atmosphere during those games, and the chance to test oneself against top teams.

I'd be amazed if he came now, unless we decide Jota is not fit enough to play CL games (I doubt that) and thus register Orjasaeter.

 

Bit strange we're linked with another winger. I mean, I guess we could move Jota or Maeda to the right but neither anywhere near as effective there.

 

I really couldn't see it myself but if we end this window with Maeda, Kuhn, Forrest, Jota and Orjasaeter (with hopefully Yang on loan to another UK team and Palma shifted), it's fantastic.

Hopefully this happens as well as a striker and not instead of (with Maeda moving uptop)

 

Aye jota for me is like khun a year ago the now. He will need time to get upto speed.

 

Come on mate, if you come from the type of club he plays, we have a lot on offer. Winning prices, proven development for players, champ lg or Euro lg guaranteed, our derby games are some the biggest games in world football, probably will earn decent too. Its a mad take we dont have to offer much for him.
