Deary me....What has Sol Campbell done wrong or dishonestly towards Celtic? He said he'd speak to Lenny once he was confirmed manager. This he did & he took the tour. Throughout this situation, he has said he will look at ALL his options & have a final discussion with Wenger after the World Cup. Then he will make his decision. Give the guy a break.

If he doesn't come, we'll go on bigger & better then before. If he does, I think he'll do a super job for us.

come on pre season has started for most clubs and he is dragging his high heels still,thats a week now he would let lenny know so if he doesnt hear anything today then move on please and get ramis if he is still wanting to come.a top la liga defender at 25years old and poss to get him on a low fee,and if he does well sell him to epl come on lenny move on to rammy ramis like the sound of that lol

Sol Campbell said - he will speak to OTHER clubs before he makes his decision. He was open and honest about that. Some of you are so stupid you can't expect a player to join a team without weighing out his options. I'm sure Sol will be having a look around Sunderland, then maybey Newcastle and whoever is interested. Then he will make his decision ..

In other words he'll wait to see who offers the best wages, the money grabbing *. Really don't like this guy, as I said earlier over the whole Notts County affair where he threw a strop and walked out. The typical modern footballer who is only interested in himself & money, not the club, next please.

 

Lets be honest if we would have went about things in a more eager way and give the player less time to think about things we would have had him snapped up already. Sunderland only spoke to him because yesterday they found out their centre half Lorik Cana is going to Galatasary so they contacted him but if we would have given him less time to think then he would be a Celtic player!

 

He never threw a strop, he only signed because of the promises from the 'owners' and guess what them owners nearly made the club go bust! So there was pretty much a breach in contract there! And after last season i think we should look at our own players for just being intrested in themselves and picking up there cash!

As others have said above, hes listening to other offers like he said and this will be his last club, i would imagine, so he wants to make the right move for him and his family. Too many people on here dont really understand transfers its not as simple as just the club askin will you sign, and the player replying aye nae bother on the spot or even after a week without weighing everything up! He has no connection with Celtic what so ever, so we will mean the same to him as the likes of Sunderland, just hope Lenny sold it to him enough and he joins.

believe me i know the frustration and i feel it too!!

im a tim 25yrs and am well aware of our fans frustrations in being seemingly unable to close any deals! but fitba's a murky business, an these things take time.

getting angry and spouting of a pile of *(not you personally btw) about how this player or that player is taking the * is absolutly nonsensical, and just serves to wind yourself up further
thus spreading more bile and hurting my eyes when i eventually read it!!!

take a pill if any deals happen we'll hear about it then we can extol the virtues of any players we get until then chill mon!!

Sol will sign for the club that shows the most ambiton i feel, if Steve Bruce shows says they want to get in europe and push from there i think he will stay in the premiership as its a much better league but Lenny has persuaded Ledley nearly and hopefully Bullard i think he could do the same with Campbell.

 

Tbh if we sign him we will only get 1 year out of him why dont we go for a younger option
