i'm not too bothered about Sol, obviously wanting to top up his retierment fund, more important than the the football so it seems, * him, we dont need that type of player, give me someone who'll play for the club not the wages.

Listen hes a good player who if he signs will do a fine job for us im sure of that but hey lets not beat around the bush if he didnt check out all his offers for what will be his last pay day then he would be nuts so lets try keep this in perspective i welcome him if he signs but if he feels hes got something beter at another club then i respect his decision and we move on to another target

 

Look we have obviously put a deal for him together , he has already said he aint making his mind up till he is wed , whats the problem with him speaking to other teams to see what they have ..If he chooses us then fine if not then so what !!

Don't think we'll end up getting him do be honest. The only good thing we have going for us besides European football is that we have tabled a 2 year deal and to my knowledge everyone else have only given one.

i really feel this has been a waste of time ive never felt that he was interested in signing for us. i cant see lennys logic in allowing him to come in after his honeymoon. fitness wise he will be along way behind the other players. as we stand right now we will be going in to the champions league qualifier still needing a new centre half and if mcmanus goes to middlesborough then we should be signing another two centre halfs. i know we have loovens but he is pish and shouldnt be anywhere near our team. i saw an interview with the arsenal manager on ssn earlier and he said he is looking to bring in another centre half on top of the one he signed yesterday so sol will be well down the pecking order their. i really think we should be moving on to other targets.
