Thought that as well (I assume they are fakes). It also seems a bit weird to buy a fake (?) and then complain about the quality :smiley-laughing002:

 

I definitely think they are rejects the quality of the shirt, badges, logo are as good as any other football top. They just haven't been put together right which is why they are so cheap.

I wasn't complaining of the quality of mine, just letting people know what they were like, then it's upto others whether they want to buy them or not. I would think not

 

That NB is so off on the away shirt how can a mistake like that be made?

 

Aye the wee * making it shouldn't be making mistakes like that on the kinda money they earn.


It honestly wouldn't surprise me if the factory workers get paid off the books by sellers to produce the odd reject for sale on the black market.

 

Because the real ones are just as crap quality and £53 each.

 

I compared my Germany top to a real one in the shop and it was a different shade of green and the fabric was thinner. They're good enough to get away with it's a plain, foreign top that people won't realise the difference but you see that many Celtic tops that it will be obvious to everybody that it's not the real deal.

Probably need a side by side comparison to tell, under the same lighting etc.

Away one doesn't look too bad, just not as fitted as the legit one.

 

I seem to have gotten a good one, the only fault with mines is that the hoops don't quite line up at the sides but apart from that its bang on.

If your shirts crap ask for a refund and take pictures of the fault.

 

i bet the people buying the fake strips are the people who complain about the quality of the players we sign, yet they fund some random dude making up his own strips, rather than buy them from the club shop. people slated sevco fans for wanting to boycot buying real strips to fund sports direct, and they were all planning on buying fakes, looks like some of our fans our doing the same.

 

Or they just don't feel like paying £159 for three t shirts and they'd rather buy stuff manufactured by the club

 

Just picked up an genuine one. The £9 I got on aliexpress is defo a fake and not a manufacturing reject. The material is not the same (it feels different and the dotted texture differs) the shade of green is also wrong. I have taken photos of both under he same lighting conditions. The sleeves on the fake are also baggier and the Magners label larger. On the fake the New Balance logo on the top is made of a thinner material and doesn't have the textured effect of the genuine one.

lol, I scrutinised every shirt on the rack to find the one with the least flaws. After the aliexpress one I didn't want one with so much as an unsymmetrical placed stitch :smiley-laughing002:

 

Ordered the Sporting black and grey hooped top but thankfully the hoops dont go all the way around but for £9 you have to expect some flaws.

 

Am I the only one who has the bottom 2 NB logos on the bottom green hoop? :smiley-laughing002: Sleeves are different too.

 

I think the difference lies between S/M/L/XL, certanly seemed taht way when I was looking at them. Mines is a Large if that makes any difference.

 

That must be it then as I got an XL. Never thought of that.

 

Sleeves look a bit funny in the picture but it's just the way it's lying. Mine's brilliant. Arrived today.

 

It's starting to grow on me. Probably won't buy it as I just got me the 2009 bumble bee top.
