It all comes down to who scores the first goal and when in Turin. If Juve get one in the first half it's game over, but if we go in at half time 1-0 the players will think to themselves that it might just be possible and anything could happen in the second half. I still believe we can do it, although we more than likely won't.

If we play as well as we did the other night, we can win the game. It's not often we do play that well though. The tie is over no matter what. :54:

They will want us to come out and play the same way, but we shouldn't. Not from the start at least. We just need to invite them to attack and sit in, keep the ball and frustrate them.

We need to believe we can at least make the score more respectable and take the game as it comes. One things for sure we canny lose the ball switching play and we need to actually run at their defenders. We got into good areas last time and with Samaras fit anything can happen. He'll roast Lichtensteiner.

We'll need to find a weakness and he could be the one.

Second half we go for it, first half we keep it tight. If we get chances we need to make them count. One goal at a time and keep it really close.

A win away is a good result, a draw is a good result. Second half we can go with two wingers and maybe we'll find some good form from Watt, Stokes and Miku in the league.

Maybe Efe will score against them. I reckon he'll be a man on a mission from now on.

I'm always optimistic when it comes to football so I haven't given up hope, you just never know. I'd be happy once we had a decent go of it though.

Anyone going to Turin should just enjoy their trip.

Don't harbour any expectations, we are out of Europe.

Would be great if we miraculously managed 4-0, or 3-0 including a Lichsteiner OG and then a win on penalties. Stranger things have happened.

Not at all expecting success, but at the same time I refuse to accept that we're done. FFS this whole campaign has been tied together by Celtic simply beating the odds and fighting uphill battles.

Remember Spartak Moscow away? At 2-1 straight after half-time I was sure we were done. But we rode our luck and managed to equalise, get a player sent off and win the game in its dying moments (with a superb cross from Izzy btw)
We nearly grabbed a draw from Barcelona AWAY, and actually beat them at home thanks to a thunderstrike of a goal from Tony Watt. He was 18, fae Coatbridge! Madness.

Didn't we score against Helsingborg away in about a minute? I spent days worrying about that game thinking we were gonna get pummeled.

Obviously certain teams I mentioned there do not at all compare to Juventus, but the point is, we're Celtic and we're jammy gits. If we grab an early goal I think we're back in the tie. And what if we get a ref (does anyone know who it is yet btw?) who isn't a moron? What if one or maybe even two Juventus players get sent off justifiably for the kind of antics they showed on Tuesday?

I know, very unlikely, but just effing imagine we forced the game to extra-time.

Don't know why but im starting to get a good feeling about the away leg. We've had all the bad luck and bad decisions in the first leg.Surely if we can play our best as we've shown in this campaign on numerous occasions we can give them a game and hopefully a scare by going 2-0 up,then who knows what can happen.

You didn't see Hooper get frustrated at the tactics of the Juve defence? Or them sneaking up the park and scoring from three of their five shots on target?

You must have been watching a different game then.

Except winning by three goals in an away Champions League game. If that counts as "* all" these days then I'd be more than happy if we did "* all" in Turin for the return game.

It did impress me, yes. Any European side who can come to Celtic Park and put three goals past us without reply is impressive. We aren't prone to getting beaten by such scorelines at home.

In all seriousness, if you are genuinely asking me who Juventus are then you need to brush up on your history of European football.

They played a counter-attacking game away from home at one of the toughest grounds in Europe to get a result at and won by three goals. It's hard to blame those who don't see a way back for us.

They were *. They might have made you stain your pants with that performance but there was nothing laudable about it.
The so-called toughest ground in Europe is only that way if the home team make it so. We didn't. We made it easy for them.
I have no need to brush up on any history, since I've actually been alive through most of it and don't need to read a history book to tell me the last time we were a decent team in Europe. Juventus are a team who got a doing every time they game to Celtic Park, Tuesday night excepted - doings I happen to have witnessed first hand when they actually WERE a good side, and not that bunch of chancers who had the ball taken off them every five minutes by Celtic. You can march up and down outside Celtic park with your 'End is Nigh' sandwich board all you like, but the simple fact is that we are capable of beating them.

I would be more than happy if we make a game of it over there, no expectations just want to give a good account of ourselves.

I'd say we have a 2% chance of going through.

But there are penalties, set pieces, the ref/linesmen, deflections, sendings off, own goals etc that means we could absolutely snake a 3-0 win.

I've seen plenty of games when the better team has lost 3-0. One on Tuesday springs to mind, Newcastle 0-3 Chelsea last season is another one of the top of my head.....take it to extra time, win on penalties or draw 1-1 in extra time and go through on away goals.

Samaras/Hooper goal early on to give our players a bit of a lift. 2nd goal from a Mulgrew set piece. Juve start to push forward as we're building momentum but Forrest has just come on and we get the 3rd from a counter attack using his pace.

Wanyama with a 30 yard screamer at the death.....another great defensive performance with Forster being nicknamed "La Grande Muraglia" after the game.
