Can't help but think that there must have been armies of * who were saying "why fly Palestinian flags at a European football match?" or "what place do politics have in sporting arenas?" not so long ago...

If it's meant to be comfortable to the status quo, it's not a protest. And there's never been a single protest against any major institution/institutionalised position that hasn't been met with cries of "just stop, you're an embarrassment/anarchist!" in modern history.

I don't actually support JSO, but I'm damned well behind their right to protest. They're not making money from this, and they'll be jailed... Unlike the oil, gas, political structures who have gouged and profiteered in recent times. One group set the planet on fire, and the other messed up a table cover... Bit of perspective is appropriate I think

Cannot wait to watch the Higg strutt his stuff in the next round. If he's on his game no one bar Ronnie can touch him, unfortunately it's few and far between that he plays to that level these days.

Regardless, hoping for some magical moments this year from any * that feels like going fit.

Would have thought motor sport such as F!,Moto gp, Rally etc would be more suitable to be protesting against,ok they got their cause highlighted but its snooker and its not like it was a live final on tv with a global audience.

Kyron Wilson done a max today I hear, always good to see will be putting it on later.

Superb result for Ants McGill, actually think he's an outside chance of winning it this year. Might see what odd Paddy Power are throwing about...

This young Chinese boy is cool as ye like here, not fazed in the slightest. Would be glorious if he sent that mouthy * Murphy packing in the first round.

McGill just far too shrewd and cool under pressure for Lisowski here. You can see the weight of the moment effecting Jacky boy

Forgot this was on early today..

Good. Him and his pal Trump are a couple of *..

I listened to that Trump interview after McGill. Didn't mention him once or give him any credit. Said he should've won every frame and only lost because he missed easy balls. What a *..

McGill looking good again today. He's a dark horse for this tournament if he keeps this form up. Think he would need to beat Ronnie in the semis to make the final though if he got that far.
