Seen Kassidy in ABC, they were pretty good. Twisted Wheel are worth a listen to aswell. The View aren't as big as they should be either. Quality band!!

:icon_mrgreen: Not really true. They have played the biggest metal fests. Ok. The general music loving public wont know them, but it's not like they're playing in small pubs don't they?

    Someone said Gaslight Anthem, :50:

There's a guy called Marques Toliver that I just found out about a few weeks ago. Think he's going to hit it big soon, think he has a couple eps out.

The sword are a talented metal band. Basically a mix between black sabbath mastodon and wolfmother.

Devin Townsend is a complete and utter legend. Some hairstyle :56: good band. Although they're biggish for an Extreme Metal band.

I would have to say all the Death Metal bands I like would be in this category because the biggest selling Death Metal band of all time has only sold 1.5 million records over 20 years.

And on the other side of the rock genre there are 'Zombified' from Belfast who play old school death/thrash. Startin to make a good name for themselves, had some amazing shows as support for the likes of Suffocation and Decapitated

Think a few people need to check their definition of 'small'. Bands like The National are not small bands (although they're brilliant), Mumford and Sons, The Script etc - not small bands. Even Frightened Rabbit aren't really small time now.

They aren't really big though mate (most of them), I doubt alot of people on the forum know bands like Frabbit or the National.

    Two Door Cinema Club.

Not that small now but they will be a lot bigger after the festival season has finished, their album is quality and this song in particular is a belting summer tune.

Would say The National stepped up a level with High Violet but they're still nowhere near as well known as someone like Arcade Fire. Can only be a good thing to get more people to hear them, they are something else. Not many bands would put out such consistently brilliant albums as they have with the last three.
