He gets paid approx 70k a year to manage croatia. And doesn't get a transfer kitty.
His first real club job, I doubt he'll demand 3 million a hear salary and to have 30million at his disposal.

The likes of coyle, who is gong into the prem, now he may or may not be given a wage increase by burnly, but I'll be sure he'll get at least 20/25million for players. Think he'd jump at the chance to come up here for a lot less in terms of wage and transfer?


For me, billic is the right man out of the 4/5 names being branded about.
Not because he's a rebel though. But because he does have tactical awareness, can play free flowing attractive attacking football, can man motivate/manage individuals. Won't let anyone playyer think they're biggger than the club. Will come with a great knowledge of eastern european players, and he comes with the biggest name. If your trying to sell Celtic to a potential signing, my bottom dollar will be that the name bilic will be a bigger pull than coyle or mowbary.

 

couldnt agree more about the managers in question. like i said in the "does our board show a lack of ambition" the managers we are being linked with are terrible. theres no way i would take mcghee, mowbray or coyle. the only 1 id be relatively happy with is billic
