This. I think people need to stop pretending this is fair. It's not like our only choices are to pretend this is fair on the one hand or feel guilty on the other; we have nothing to feel guilty about. The end of the day it's an unfair rule and we shouldn't be in it as the poll says; but you have to take two things into account:

1) It wasn't our doing. We don't make the rules; we only have to live with them (or fight them if and when possible, i.e. rarely).

2) People who know our history better than I do have been pretty clear that we have suffered our fair share from stupid and unfair rules over the decades. So we have every right to enjoy our participation (hopefully) this year without feeling guilty and no one (from Legia or anywhere else) has any right to try and imply that our participation is in any way tainted. The only ones tainted in all this is UEFA.

The rule should still be changed though for the future. I wish Legia luck in getting it changed.

I hope the OP was being ironic in asking whether integrity means anything in the sport based on this poll. If integrity meant something, UEFA's decision would have been different.

 

The key word here is proportion: the punishment for any infraction should always be proportionate, in any system of rules. This clearly wasn't.
