Give up with the sour grapes Skippy.

Speaking out at this time is just going to lead to more negative headlines about Mowbray which can only undermine our chances of winning the Scottish Cup and getting some form together for the remainder of the season.

If you really care about the well being of Celtic then just shut yer hole till the end of the season and then say your piece if you have to.

Skippy talks a load of *. Do we want to go back to the WGS days when he didn't make a sub until the 85th minute. How are players meant to influence a game playing for the last 5 minutes. I'm glad Mowbray makes changes around the 60min mark if things aren't going well.

Skippy keep yourself focused on scoring for your new club and stop talking to the papers. :50:

he should shut up because i like him and hope he does well at boro but if he keeps going on al forget all his important goals and remember him for been a we jealous * after he left us

    Too many to name.
Just goes to show he's still sore at leaving but has no dignity when he has to have cheap shots at the club at every opportunity. He's needs to keep his moaning wee face shut and move on.

Probaly looking after No1 with the World Cup coming up and him being at Celtic maybe gave him a bit more lime light but now in League 2 down there .......

It's all good as far as I'm concerned.

His continued moaning from beyond the grave just reminds why I was so pleased to get * shot of him in the first place. :50:

Why is this being viewed as some sort of attack on Celtic? He's been asked some questions about his time at the club and he's answered them. He comes across very pragmatic and reasonable in my eyes. It's just a hack digging for a story that makes it seem otherwise.

    How about this bit -
'“Would Robbie Keane have come through the door if I’d not left? That’s the question,” he mused. “I think the money they got for me obviously helped that deal go through. It certainly made sure I was forgotten about very quickly.”
The sense of bitterness is impossible to ignore.'

Really? Since when has pointing out that generating cash from a sale helped a team secure an expensive player been bitter? And as for the "forgotten about very quickly bit" surely he's just acknowledging Keane is a good signing and a better player than him?

It's a well-balanced interview enflamed by some journalistic stiring and I'm a little surprised people have fallen for it.

i would believe that if McDonald had not built up the image of a constant and indeed self confessed moaner about everything! and whys he even talking about Celtic surely he could be proffessional and just say, "I'm a Middlesborough player, ask me something about my new club" :39:

Exactly, * you all on about. The only people doing the moaning here is our fans, all we do is sit in the stand and moan.

Because he is a celtic fan and one who didn't want to leave us, he likes talking about his club.

He has said what every celtic fan is thinking about mowbray.

I'm sure the Evening Times has a massive readership in Midlesborough...

He was helping out the journalist by answering the questions which provide a suitably angled story for the publication in question.

Perhaps McDonald thought his comments would be treated in an even handed manner.

And anyway, if he had said that people would probably be moaning about a story with the headline "Bitter McDonald refuses to speak about Celtic past".
