Now is the time to play the fringe players and youngsters. Our most important trophy this season is the SPL.

This would give valuable playing time to both of the above groups and keep the main team fresh for the league.

Generally, I don't care much for the Europa League games. However, if Sion are reinstated then it'll be time to put our warpaint on!!!!

Not surprised mate, cos half the folk on this thread are acting as if Sion have been reinstated.

They've not. This is UEFA positioning themselves to demonstrate
    1) That they are openminded and willing to abide by any CAS verdict
    2) The crazy almost-unworkable situation that would arise if Sion were reinstated

All this publicity is designed simply to win their case at the CAS, and have Constantin's arguments thrown out of court. May not be too hard to do that, cos he already seems to have * off the CAS as well as everyone else.

I'm sick of hearing about these stupid bunch of *, bring Balde back on a short term contract and tell him for every leg he breaks against Sion he get's an extra 50 grand on his wages, they won't be so keen to play us in the return leg, probably beg UEFA to let them out!

Seriously though, this is just making a farce of everything, it's like it's been handled by a bunch of kids, they don't have a clue what they are doing.

    I have a theory......

We should write to UEFA and claim that our team were mentally "stressed" by this whole situation and should be allowed to play all of our games again as we wern't in the right frame of mind in our opening games :icon_mrgreen:

If they refuse just make every remaining game a mockery! Get our Celtic players to dance to YMCA as the game is going on or something.

UEFA hate the way FC SION have dealt with things ie there appealing all the time so i just cant see uefa allowing they cheats back in and how the * can the the Court of Arbitration for Sport say yes when SION CHEATED END OFF.

REMEMBER Uefa ARE still determined that Sion should not be reinstated so

    GTF FC SION

Notice again how they refuse to go to CAS - they know fine well they don't have a leg to stand on. As i said last week, UEFA called their bluff and it appears to have worked. It seems as if they have a vendetta against Celtic for whatever reason, trying to stop us from playing Rennes when UEFA have already stated they can take it to CAS.

i honestly think they will automatically get a bye in to the last 32/33 or a playoff for it...... it would just * up the rest of our group if anything..... if it isnt that * up already

There is a reason their appeals are not definite "no"s. UEFA's banning of them in the transfer market was apparently, itself, greatly unjust and had a lot to do with a influential Egyptian owner pulling strings with friends at UEFA. That's why its not as simple as 'ban them'
