Its the best group in the competition by a mile.
I'd love to be involved whether we deserve it or not.

Should we be given the place instead of Sion then we should take it. Denmark took their chance in 1992 so why shouldn`t we.

    I'm not picky.
This is what I was thinking as well because wasn't the case of Bosman brought about because Bosman was wanting to move clubs but Liege wouldn't let him go even though his contract with Liege had expired?

And I agree - Sion fielding ineligible players is nothing like a player wanting to move clubs even when his contract had ended

Absolutely I want Celtic given a forfeit win over Sion and reinstated into the Europa League. Firstly it would be a great boost for the squad from a motivation standpoint especially given how attractive playing Bilbao, Rennes and Udinese would be. Given where we are how I don't see us qualifying from the group but I think it would be crucial experience for our young team. Plus you never know with all the pressure off and playing some legit attractive European games maybe we even produce a few big performances.
Never mind the fact that it would be some significant extra income coming into the club which is obviously badly needed.

And this is what will happen if Sion don't get punished because of their cheating - they cheat and don't get punished? Well, THAT end definitely will NOT justify the means

As said before, they should be kicked out, but this does not imply that we should get back in.

I have been thinking though. Suppose we do get through and then win the EL. Should I celebrate or not... A real dilemma... :43:

We should celebrate. We might actually start playing better against Rennes, Udinese, and Athletico with some new players in, look what Fernabache did.

Hearing from a good source we are getting our bye into the next round of the UEFA Cup, it's just a formality now.

I think it does because they played against us when they cheated so we should go through by default for want of a better word. If they get kicked out, why should anyone else other than us be put in their place? :97:

Yeh basically the Bosman case we he wanted to switch clubs as his contract was up. His current club felt they still deserved a fee as that was the way things worked then.

The club interested refused meaning Bosman wasn't earning money at his current club - as his contract had expired - and couldn't switch.

Been told that Celtic are 60/1 to win Europa League and Sion are priced at 200/1 at the bookies. Seems likely that we'll be re-instated.
