put it this way; if it was Barca or Man Unt (unlikely as it may be) who were knocked out by a team fielding ineligible players, do you honestly think they would turn around and say "no we dont deserve to go through even though the other team blatantly cheated" ? would they *.

i for one wouldn't be embarrassed. its certainly not the way i'd want to go through but if the other team has cheated to go through then it's really a no brainer.

what i cant understand why were they not booted out after the first leg when they first defied eufa and registered the 5 players that should have happened and we would then have been put in at our proper seeded position or did eufa like every1 else expect celtic to beat a very average side

If they were banned for 2 years then that means it runs until january, i don't know the full situation but two full transfer windows means two full years, not a full summer transfer window and 2 half january transfer windows.

The Sion owner is chancing his arm because of how you interpret what uefa/fifa have said, if uefa's meaning of two full transfer windows is 2 full years and not 1 full and 2 halfs then Sion have no case.

 

i have to agree if it was (well especially if it was) rangers or indeed anyone else, the SFA would be falling over themselves in crying foul

UEFA has the list of our player since the 8th august, and had accept their qualifications. They hoped we would loose against you. No luck.
Then, in the UEFA statuses, it's written that they're subdued to the laws of switzerland.

This way we're completely indisputable.

I get what your stating. However clubs in switzerland cannot have one rule for themselves and the rest of clubs in europe have a different rule on the basis that they dont operate in switzerland.
