Yes lets turn down a good 3m minimum because we don't need the money. Honestly some folk need to wake up, by getting a gift of reentry into the europa league we might be able to hang onto or beet players.

its the daily record, their sole purpose is to print anti celtic stories

who else could it be? we were the only team directly affected by sions cheating.

    typical daily record * stirring.

I've said it five times so one more won't hurt. The rule isn't that Sion get booted out. Their opponents receive a 3-0 victory for each games they fielded illegible players.

The first two by Feindouno only. Sio has been a player of ours for years already. But in the end, it doesn't matter if they scored. If they were ineligible they shouldn't have played... if they were...

Swiss Civil Court should decide on Monday whether it confirms the temporary licencing of the players or not. The six players sued the Swiss FA for refusal of work. If the verdict is confirmed, FIFA and UEFA will be in big trouble if they still want to kick us out.

Its ok to say were gonna get 3million quid if we are awarded the tie and enter the group stage, but where does the 3 mill come from? Its not uefa or tv its me and you that need to buy the tickets for the home matches prob about 80 or 90 quid for me and my boy. The money coming from uefa and tv are miniscule under half a million I believe for the 3 matches.

So lets summarise this from a fans point of view,

    * Pay money for 2 qualifiers that are deemed void, including travel to Switzerland (not cheap).

    * Get told 1 day before transfer window shuts by uefa that its ok your back in the group stage, club now say please quickly give us more money and we can try sign the striker we need, now we know we have the money.

    * Turn up and watch us compete in a league format where we have been penalised and given a far harder section than our co efficient entitled us too.

    * Get pumped by the quality opposition ( i cant see us going through from that group) which will further damage our reputation in europe.

    * Get laughed at more for receiving a bye and still failing to progress.

I would far rather Celtic pursued uefa or fifa for financial compensation as so far we as supporters have been fleased out of enough money by this joke of an organisation and I for one would rather we declined the reprieve unless it involved a re draw of the group stages as we have done nothing wrong but have been shafted big time.

How hard would it have been of uefa to rule before these games took part? and make it clear to sion what would happen if they fielded these players saving joe public a lot of time and money.

I wont be buying tickets for the group stage if were simply chucked in in place of sion and i will be writing a letter to the board to fight the case for the supporters who are the main losers in all of this.

If sion have the right to claim they are acting with the decision of a Swiss court surely Celtic can petition the Scottish government to make a ruling in our favour.

I am sure there is some rule about national governments/courts staying out of footballing decision making or the national teams face sanction? WILL THIS HAPPEN? DOUBT IT

Nothing to be embarrased about sion clearly fielded ineligable players ,regardless of the outcome over the 2 legs , rules are rules.

To give the backstory to this, Sion's owner Cristian Constantin is basically the Mad Vlad of Swiss football. Here's what he had to say about the FIFA and UEFA general secretaries:

“I’m fighting against a totalitarian regime that wants to impose an injustice and that is why I attack the criminals, Valcke and Infantino, for threats made.”

This * has lost the plot, and they will be cracking down on his * big style.

Also, apparently Servette are boycotting their league game with Sion today, because they are continuing to field ineligible players.

Basically, Sion are * of the first degree. :50:
