Lennon seems to think Sammy can knock down and flick to himself.

    It's *' Clark Kent he's wanting !

Everyone needs to relax,a 0-0 draw against a team playing on their goal line is not the end of the world. If they want to win, they will need to open up in the second leg. We our the better squad even with out top 3 players missing.(Izaguirre, Kayal and Hopper). Yes, i would have liked a win but we will go into Sion with a different approach and with a little more flare we will win. It takes months of building up everyone's pride, and its taken away from 1 draw. We have a very good squad in our financial state. With a full squad we can compete in Europe.

Think most of the anger was directed at the board and the managers inept tactics.Players gave all they could ,just set up wrong.

It's all been blown out of proportion. We were missing the likes of Kayal, Izzy and Hooper last night, three main components of our squad. We can't just take them out and expect to play the same way as we do with them in the team, as we don't have the same amount of quality on the bench to replace them.

As soon as they are all back and fit again, normal service shall resume.

But thats why we have a squad dont change the way we play to suit others it becomes a bit of a joke when we change a whole teams set up to suit 1 or 2 players shouldnt it be the other way round or am i seeing it all wrong

Normal service shall resume....Well it just goes to show you inside 2 weeks weve lost 2 of our best men and what happens if we pick up anymore injuries. Were just an Ordinary team at the moment.

    Excellent post.

Sick and tired of this faithful through and through nonsense.....Which apparently means we are not allowed to observe and rightfully criticize our team in the hope something will be done (i.e sign a striker, a good goalkeeper) to remedy the problems.

Doesn't make anyone more of a Celtic fan if the only words they can say are FAITHFUL THROUGH AND THROUGH when they see problems within our team.

If anything, it's those who voice their concerns based on facts that help our team more.

We could be out of Europe by the time this happens!

But back to the subject.. I think you'll find the most loyal, passionate and die-hard Celtic fans are usually the ones who get * off when the team doesnt do well! I seen the score and immediately shouted "FFS Celtic!"
    Doesn't mean I'm a * supporter, it shows I give a *! :50:

have to say i was annoyed with the booing last night as well. it was hardly the worst result we could have had, a lead would have been great to take over there but their was no away goal. score draw over there and were through - easier said than done with our away record but in no way unachievable.

i think lennon knows himself he got it slightly wrong last night and i expect us to get the result we require next thursday. no need to turn on lenny or this team

Youre right I was critical of some of the team last night in a vocal manner, and was told in no uncertain terms that I may have been a bit too voiciferous in my "rants" I didnt boo our players and never would and if I wasnt there I would be loathe to make subjective comments on who was good or not if I hadnt actually been at the game

I was a little surprised at the boos at the end last night, as others have said previous it wasn't the worst result the team could've had and we were without Kayal, Hooper, Wilson and Izzaguirre, four key players in the team and had a few players playing out of their comfortable positions, we did start with a 4-4-2 but their number 14 was finding space too easy and so Lennon thought it was best to change, by the looks of it those 11 players didn't have much experience playing with each other in that formation

    Well said mate.

I think the fans have a right to moan if the board are not supplying the manager with the correct personnel, we struggled last season for goals in some games yet we seem a million miles from getting a quality striker with aerial ability. I give huge support but it gets tired when the board don't match our ambitions.

It wasn't the personnel last night. It was Lennon tactics . The board weren't to blame.

Yes the tactics weren't great but it still * me off that we haven't signed a decent striker yet. Our forwards were * last night.

Do you know how much wages Sammy gets? Paid by us, the fans? We have every right to boo him if we feel he isn't putting in enough effort for our team. I refuse to cheer on players who are sitting on their big wage packet doing * all but hold our team back.

I agree we definitely need reinforcements. But if anyone is to be blamed for last nights results it should be Lennon. If he doesn't have good reinforcements by the end of august I would blame the board again.:56:

Tim - I agree these players get well paid. When they are representing my club I will get 100% behind them. I will never shout abuse at any any of my team.
