    I always wanted to see him given a go in the 10 position. He was good on the right but I dont think we utilized him properly. It would have meant dropping skippy though. Imagine him Maloney and McGeady in a bank of three with Hartley and Robson behind.

    Gordon Strachan brought some great players to club in the era of downsizing. Nakamura, Big Jan, Zurawski, Boruc and Samaras. Each of them would walk straight into Ronnys team just now.

    Aye, barely feels like that long ago. There was less distance between Danny McGrain and Paolo Di Canio playing for Celtic or Tommy Burns and Lubo or Roy Aitken and Viduka.
