I don't think we have any right to be talking about sending out our youth team against anyone considering the performances of our first XI. Inverness will be a test, make no mistake about it.

We should play our strongest team. The more matches they play, the sharper they will get and they will adapt quicker to this system.

Plus, it will be a tough game.

to early in the season to rest players, showed against legia the team needs games.
once we're into the group stages, then we can look to rest 1st team players.

I don't see how losing to Inverness before the biggest game of our season will help much. Give a few key players a rest if they need it, but we have to play our first team. Everyone needs as much game time as possible to adapt to Ronny's system.

No. It's still incredibly early in the season, the game time will do them good.

The complacency behind this thread is quite breath-taking tbh.

We need to play a strong team which may include Ambrose Commons Griffiths and Henderson . The thought of not playing players because of the risk of injury doesn't make sense , as I presume those who don't play on Saturday will train and could pick up an injury at training .

It makes sense to rest the key players for Maribor tie. That's what management is all about. Give the squad a chance to play and he can have a look at the reserves in a competitive game.

I dunno why we aren't attracting better players at our youth level, most of them are dross.

Probably cause they don't see themselves getting a chance in the first team
