Why? they finished second for a reason. They are inferior.

I don't actually want any of their players but it'd be * hilarious seeing their fans seethe at the thought of it.

The different answers in this thread are fascinating.

Many think it wouldn't be such a bad idea to just take a look. Others want NOTHING to do with the idea.

    Interesting.

    I'm not picky.
And they have stepped up to playing consistently for our team and played well, so if we signed anyone from Rankers how would they hope to get a game when the players we already have are better then them? :97:

None of them are good enough including the keeper that thinks no means yes. If they had Messi however I would have to rethink but Whyte wasn't there long enough to buy him before liquidation happened.

Zaluska, Is not our 1st choice keeper .

Bocanegra could'nt lace Mulgrew or Rogne's boots.

    Whittaker is a maybe .

Davis ,Why leave out Ledley - Kayal - Wanyama from the Celtic players you picked from ,Davis does play Centre Mid as well for them ,personally I would'nt touch him.

    Aluko - over who .

    Naismith- Nae chance.

McCabe - Potential :97: Celtic have about 8-9 players in that Midfield who would play before him .

Like I said ,I would'nt touch any of them.

The fact that some of our support would be willing to welcome the bitterest that the huns have to offer, i.e. Naiknees & the beast, beggars belief, it really does.

Crazy seeing so many people slating fellow supporters for not minding the thought of a GOOD player who happened to play for Rangers signing for Celtic, absolutely * crazy, that's what I would expect to see over at their end.

I also disagree with people claiming McGregor wouldn't try if he played for us, no matter what your opinion of him as a person is, he is still a "professional"... and no professional would deliberately make themselves look not as good as they can be as that's just not how it works. Most of them wouldn't get a game for us, but to suggest none of them would improve our team is * incredible.

I'd take Bocanegra, McGregor and to a lesser extent, MAYBE Naismith.

Disagree, we could get a lot better elsewhere and we will! We will pay for quality rather than settle for that lot for a discount price or a free!

How many years has it been since Celtic have "paid" for quality, our board don't do that and still won't, especially after the fact we will lose a percentage of garunteed revenue from Sky Sports (Champions League group stage revenue is not "garunteed" for us)

Where exactly will we get better? Who (who won't cost millions of pounds) is better and would be willing to come to Scotland?

If we can get a player on the cheap who would improve our team, it would be * outrageous to say "no, he played for Rangers."

Alan McGregor and Sone Aluko if I had to choose any from them.

It's got nowt to do with the fact they played for Rangers, I dont rate them or we have as good or better in the team anyway and they are playing well as a team thanks very much as it stands, McGregor and Naismith wouldn't come anyway, they have the problem there!

McGregor is a good shot stopper, nothing more, and even then he made a good few howlers this season. There are plenty of good keepers out there who also happen to be decent human being so pass on that one.

Mulgrew was POTY so I don't see how Bocanegra can be better than him? Rogne is potentially better than Mulgrew if he can sort out his injury problems and have a full interrupted season.

Whittaker is as good as Matthews? A young guy who was being courted by EPL teams before coming here and making the RB slot his own, is young and is only going to get better? Would I * have Whittaker replacing him.

Davis is pish, has been on the wane for 18 months now.

Aluko has had a dozen good games against SPL dross and one good half against our 9 men. Now way would he get a game ahead of Forrest or Commons.

McCabe, * knows, young guy and we have enough potential coming through that we don't need him.

I would take a risk on Sone Aluko if he was cheap enough and maybe Bocanegra

McGregor, Naismith and Davis would certainly add quality to the squad BUT there's not a chance they would be accepted and rightly so.

Why would they be coming to us as Rangers fans and ex players? For the money and so that they don't need to move house!!!

Allan McGregor is the only one I would take, but he is a massive bawbag so that's a NO!

Steven Davis, would take him, just cause I know the hun dead fans worship the ground he walks on. Don't even reckon he could get in our midfield.
