I'm pretty sure one of the Welsh clubs supporters traditionally * on English soil as soon as they cross the border which is absolutely uncalled for. We've got a decent reputation with the English police which is something the huns don't. I've always mentained if they didn't exist we'd be playing in the premier league right now. I don't neccessarly care for English football but I believe it's an enviroment safer than the cess-pit of hate and intolerance.

Celtic have a lot of fans in England, mostly the sons and daughters of Irish ex-pats but I don't know if England would take us, they might take a closed minded view that we are part of the problem rather than the victim. * knows but that's how the Scottish press view it.

If Celtic were ever to leave Scottish Football then I'd rather see them go and play in the League of Ireland than move to England. The level of competition would obviously not be as good but it's a more natural home for us.

It seems a bit daft for our fans to stand in football stadiums year after year singing "England you're a monster" and "*'s curse on you England for this cruelty that you have done" and then want Celtic to go and play in the very country they sing songs against.

I'd call that selling your soul to the devil for the EPL's gold.

So for me we either stay in Scotland or move to Ireland. We do not belong in England and never will.

We would all love to see Celtic stay in the SPL but unfortunately there is no future here. We will never ever be a European power again as long as we stay in the SPL. The Irish league is even worse. Here in Ireland it is a myth that every one supports Celtic. Most people support Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal etc. They say Celtic is their ‘second team’. The reason is simple, the SPL is *, few watch it, everyone watches the EPL. (same in the rest of Europe I imagine). For our clubs future we must get into the EPL, even if it means starting from the bottom. The gap between us and the English teams will get wider and wider the longer we stay in the SPL

I have always been strongly against us leaving the league but this really takes the biscuit. if Lenny has to quit then so do we. never leave a man behind.

If these dirty * get the title then it will be a hollow one.

They will die without us and it will be they're own doing

Wondering about my hole getting mustarded
    sFckin sick of it.

I've always been against the idea of leaviing Scotland but I really think the stench of filth from all quarters of the SFA, SPL, SFL, FTP etc can leave us in NO doubt there will EVER be anything but institutionlised bias, cheating and now the threats.

I'd put us in England at the drop of a hat and watch the rest of them gurgle and drown in their ain faeces and enjoy the last glimpse of the sinking hands as they finally go under, Huns, Motherwell, refs, the lot...and as they beg to be saved...I'd whisper calmly..."No."

(*spits with contempt on the floor. Twice. Walks out.*)

Fastasy. Won't happen unless a Euro league is formed as no league will vote another big club in - and the huns would be probably invited to the euro league with us anyway.

I voted yes at the bottom of the ladder, however this is really a loaded question.
The majority of those supporters living in Scotland won't want Celtic to move ,many of those living in England will and in Ireland the reaction will be mixed.
A poll for each country would be interesting.

i know you'd jump at the chance to join english football....but you're waiting to be invited...and that will never happen.scotland wants independence england itself wants to break away from the rest of the UK,so they'll never go for it...and murdoch could never afford the compo to the remaining 100's of clubs affected.legislation would be brought in regarding policing costs and hooligan damage......and now the big reason...celtic are seen(rightly)as an anti english pro ira club, whose chants would lead to wholesale riots, and that is why it wont happen.

Why would we want to leave Scottish football for England? Is Celtic an English team? Are our cultural roots in England? Is our stadium in England?

    Get a * grip!

And no... I couldn't give a monkeys * about Swansea or Cardiff!

If Celtic ever sells its soul to the devil for a quick buck and leaves Scottish football, then I will cease to support the club!

So we can't attract the best players, or gain regular experience at the highest level? Well boo-*-hoo! Ain't that a shame! Etc. Etc.

Lets just concentrate on becoming the best team in Scotland (or has it slipped some of your minds that we haven't won OUR OWN * league in three years!?).
