coupet the lyon keeper got boo'ed but his fav ground is cp cos of our support, their professional footballers they know why were booing them

 

I cannot believe we're having a discussion about wether or not we should boo a Celtic player. This beggars belief, it really does. Stan has given us 7 exceptional years. We should be singing his praises tomorrow, not booing him.Guys consider yourself blessed, you've watched one of Europe's top midfield players for 7 years and we should be grateful he didn't * off earlier.Looking on the bright side if there is one, we do have an abundance of quality midfield players and the money we get for him could be used to bring in some quality defenders. Stan you owe Celtic and the supporters nothing, we on the other hand owe you plenty. The least we can do is give him a good send off.

 

Not one person has advocated booing him and I hope he gets a decent send as he has been a top performer for us. However, I don't believe the celtic supporters owe Petrov anything. He should be honoured to have played for our club.
He does however have a black mark against his name for trying to insult our intelligence with this " I signed a new contract so celtic could get a fee for me", utter tripe.

next season ill b ready 2 say gd bye, ill of had a player that i think contributes alot to the team and plays with his heart and soul for the jearsy for 2 more years than id have thought he would b here for, so ill b happy... just enjoy nxt season now, and 2MOZ!!!

 

He has done the job for 7 years....we didnt boo larsson when he said that he will move on!

 

As stated earlier Larsson ran out his contract and was upfront about his intentions. different scenario. He won't get boo'ed anyway

 

Celtic made petrov, and he does this to us! He wont be booed, but he does not deserve an applause, or a start!

I think after a great contribution over the years that petrov shudnt be booed. think of the important goals he's scored the important games where hes played immense and remember hes scored quite a few goals against rangers aswell so there is no reason to boo him

i will be absolutely disgusted and completely embarrased if we boo stan the man. in fact, we should actually sing "there's only one stan petrov". he's been an absolute hero for the club.
