It does happen mate but its nowhere near as bad as our culture. Here they are all intae Sports(Fitba) and burds basically :56:. Ive been coming here all my life and now live here and I have never seen more than 1 spaniard staggering about drunk after a night out or seen any youths drinking on street corners. Yet if you head into Glesga on a weekend you find half the population lieing about the street and this is echoed when they go on holiday.

In Gibraltar for example the legal age to buy drink is 16 *

    Its a disgrace.

Sensible drinkers should not be punished for those who are irresponisble.
drinking is part of our culture, It should not be hampered.
everyone including students enjoy a drink when we finish work/college/university for the week.
If anything this just shows the incompetence of the scottish government to successfully teach young people to be responsible.
If its so bad then why don't they ban it altogether? they don't because of revenue.

I agree with most of what you say but the alcohol problem is endemic in Scotland. It is a major problem for our hospitals, our health and for crime. It's too deep-rooted to blame the current government.

I'm against raising the age limit to twenty-one but something needs to be done.
