Sometimes tho death is the kind of easy way out for these w@nkers
The very fact that Huntley wants to die makes me think he shouldn't get the death penalty cos why give him what he wants..
Maybe the victims or their families should decide the punishment

    In Iran...

When some-one is to be given the death penalty in public, the criminal is hit 100 odd times with a whip in front of the victims family and then a family member is allowed to spit on them then place a cover over the criminals face then he/she is hung in public from a crane were hundreds of people come to watch

Although it’s impossible to defend most crimes surely we don’t want to go back to those dark days

I agree with that, let the * rot. Look at Ian Brady, he would love ti die but he's kept alive.
Don't know about allowing families to decide tho. Too close to the tragedy imo.

Definate no. By the state taking someone's life then you are saying that in certain circumstances it is okay to take someone's life. Capital punishment is done by the state which would mean it was done in my name and i could never have that on my concience. Two wrongs do not make a right etc. I also don't understand the difference between killing a police officer and killing someone else, everyones life is equally precious in my view.
I could go on and on about this and how much i object to the death penalty. Which US state has the highest number of state licensed killings? Texas - governor? GW Bush esq. Whatever he's keen on i tend to think it's wise to take the opposite view.

Having said all that the only reason i say it is i'm raging paedo, * fukking kop killa, robbed yer granny and i also shot bambi's mum, twice.:34:

if you string all these * up THEY are not going to be able to do it to any one else it will get the message to all the * who are thinking about what they are about to do and what the consequences are, as for the * who killed the wee boy, what will happen ? we all know that don,t we they will get about 5 years for dangerous driving or some * like that * THEM HANG THOSE * AS WELL, they knew exactly what they where doing, ok it wasn,t pre meditated but when you see a red light at a pedestrian crossing its obviously that someone is about to cross the road THEY chose to ignore it hence the death of an innocent wee laddie. :47: :47: :47: :47:

for peados, rapist, murderers, terrorists who are 100% proven to be guilty either by confession or forensics, i beleive they should be put to death other than that if they get life it should mean just that, especially predatory * or child offenders .

Tragic as that was it was an accident even though they broke the law by driving through a red light you cannot possibly say that they should be killed for it, and therefore inflicting the pain and suffering experienced by the child's family on the man who was driving the cars family. It's a fact of life that people will be accidentally killed by others' careless actions. That is why life is precious and should not be taken by the state. Although i can only speculate but i believe that the driver of that car must be broken up in side. I think the guilt he will feel will be worse than any prison sentence. People, afterall (including the judiciary) make mistakes, thats part of life. The trick is, as they say, to never make the same mistake twice.

To be honest I am in favour of the death penalty for real scum like Child predators, molesters and serial killers etc. However my reservation is I live in the USA and the current president is a * scumbag and I wouldn't trust his government to guard a packet of smarties never mind not to abuse the death penalty. I mean this * has a spy program that he uses against Americans, just admitted he has torture camps set up around the world and then got a law just passed which basically says he can interpret what is torture under the Geneva convention ie the US will continue to torture people. So I would not trust this scumbag not to abuse the death penalty system.

i quite agree with that point. But i also think that bringing the death penalty might easily scare off some of these terrorists etc (unless they're wanting to die:tongue1: ) Also i think maybe less crimes and murders would be commited if there was some sort of death penalty BUT only for those who'd either have a life sentence in prison... or terrorists. Remember this is only my opinion.
