No. He was out of the game because of an idiot tackle. He knows there are new players coming in and he`s trying to hard. He should know and be told to concentrate on the simple game.

Captain Brown and Johansen were good on the weekend. Captain Brown was unselfish to let the Bhoy Johansen to instigate some of the play through the defensive middle. With Stokes and Griffiths as spreading forwards I`m looking forward to watching the pair. I think we`ll see a lot more inside the box pounce.

No player should be above the drop, and its not a bad thing to give everyone a little bench time now and again.

It's just not happening for him much atm. Swap him out for Griffiths for a couple of games and see how that works.
Would also like to see Balde given a run, a proper run in the team to see how he stacks up as well.

How is it long due that Griffith's should be given a chance . He has only been
with us for a wet week-end . The best people to judge whether a player
should play or not are those who watch live every time he plays and trains .
The rest of us have every right to discuss whether or not he plays . I think
having a poll amongst people who are not in a position to know is stupid .

When I said its long overdue that Amido is given a chance, what I meant is that in the few instances we've seen him, he's looked sharp, scored a few goals, and never put a foot wrong on the park.

When I said its long overdue that Griffiths is given a chance, what I meant is its long overdue that Celtic signed a proven goalscorer in Scotland and gave him a run int he first team. Griffiths is that man.

Stokes is way out of form and needs to hit the training ground and the bench for a bit to get it back. Hopefully he can form a partnership with Griffiths or Amido.

Needs a partner up top, too often he is left with no-one to link with. Will be interested to see how we line up in terms of strikers in the coming weeks, I want to see Balde and Pukki given regular game time as that's the only way they will improve and settle. However with Griffiths coming in I'd also like us to try him and Stokes as a combination.

Maybe the arrival of Griffiths and the arrival of a striker who plays unlike any of our current players could be exactly what Stokes needs to start scoring again.

Griffiths will tan them in and maybe Stokesy will get in on the act too.

I have to say I miss the Stokes we had when Gary Hooper was here.

After Gary left he was really never the same again.

He was a great goalscorer. Then.

I guess I'm with the minority here.

However, that selfish play on the weekend ... he shoulda passed it to Big Derk. That's about as mad at Tony Stokes as I've been for a good while.

What about playing him on the right side of attack, let Commons play on the left. Might be better if Stokes can get chances where he doesn't have to take an extra touch to get the ball onto his good foot. Commons is left footed, Stoke prefers to shoot with his right. Maybe on his good foot he gets a better angle for a shot.

His goals this season have been few and far between and it's not good enough to be frank. It's time for Balde to be given a chance. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but Stokes' has had too many chances, Pukki's had a lot of game time and Balde usually gets 5 minutes max. Nothing to lose.

Regardless of the miss, that's the quickest counter attack i've seen in a while from Celtic. There is a positive side, and that is they're both rapid. Might be worth finding a way to team them up down the right, when teams sit in, and through the middle on the counter attack when we're defending corner kicks or set pieces.

I agree with giving Balde a start. If we can get him scoring in the league, starting games and scoring early, it could be good for the Champions' League next season.

Stokes has been given way too many chances to impress and as a striker he hasn't. The fact that Sammy has more goals shows that stokes is playing *. I want Balde to start against Aberdeen but i think we all know Lennon won't start him. Pukki will probably start.
