In my opinion when watching him, i think he could pass the ball sometimes, but most times when he gets the ball he does that slow dribble towards a defender than starts changing direction etc, when he goes into that slow dribble he is not going to pass, he is getting ready to have a run. On sunday he slowed play down and tried to be the hero.

I dont like him and i never will unless he becomes a team player, you do like him and thats fair enough.

Opinions differ. But his instructions would have been to try and work some if his magic, so that's what he tried to do.

That's right, Kevin Deery and Ciaran Martyn were the stars that night, Deery scored a superb free!

With Commons currently out of form, and a good chance that Ledley may be convering the left back role then Paddy on Thursday night from the start....we need to win, so we need creativity and movement up front....

No from me. Goes on random runs by himself, losing the ball more often than scoring, or even PASSING. Something McCourt seems to have trouble with.

I think that could be our secret weapon in Europe if we did that. He would be great just behind the strikers.

He had been carrying us last season till Xmas. He could do it again - also Commons has been weak so far. Bench him for a couple of games and make him fight for his place again.

McCourt should start, at least provisionally.

We’re lacking imagination going forward which Paddy could change if encouraged to do so.

Think hes done enough to get a run of a few games to see what he can really do

I agree with some of you that have said we could start him in europe! If we play Sammy up front why not keep our 4 in midfield : Broony, Kayal, Ki and Ledley. Then stick Paddy in behind Sammy? Its certainly worth a try... Maybe not for such a vital game as tmro though!

This, i would like to see but i don't think Lennon has the courage to try it. He'll probably play his usual conservative formation and give Paddy 15-20 mins at the end and expect a miracle. If he does that and we somehow qualify, he'll have learned nothing.

Definitely think Paddy in front of a midfield wall could work wonders, if he gets the ball in a forward position, he has less men to beat and we all know he can finish a chance- really wish Lennon would try this out, there's nothing to lose by attempting it, his current system is a failure.

If Paddy was a good player an english club would make a good bid for him (but a pittance to them) and take him off our hands.
