well it's hard to blame him after tonight... simply because we were one man down the whole match... but he probably could put stokes in first eleven and not play with 3 CM in the middle..

Nothing like a nice bit of optimism.

To turn that Mowbry team into 1 point off winning the league in 1 season was amazing and we were the ones who were singing 1 NL and loving him after it. Are they same people now calling for his head because of a couple of bad results? Grow up.

what the *, did he expect from his subs, it is him that is acting like a * looney not as a manager, and you are all on here doing the * huddle, catch yer selfs on for * sake, how many times do you need to be booted in the balls, before you will speak out.:31:

    Yes, for * sakes.

Eight days ago we had taken nine points from three difficult fixtures.

Injuries to key players, a 0-0 home draw in Europe, a freak 1-0 loss at home, and down to ten men inside a couple of minutes in an away leg.

To consider letting him go is an absolute knee-* and idiotic reaction.

This is the man who has trebled the value of our playing staff, lost the league by one point to a manager with over 20 years management experience, transformed the team from Mowbray's mess (on a very limited budget) and has brought the pride back to CP.

Yes, we should be disappointed, but we are without doubt moving in the right direction, a FEW bad results doesn't change that.

    Give it a rest.

So he's down to 10 men from the 2nd minute and you're complaining about his Tactics? Anyway, sack him and get who? Then build a completely new team? One that was only 1 point from winning it last season? It's you who's coming across a bit mental mate!

    Well said!

ffs what possible good would sacking the manager do? for his team being beaten away from home in europe by a team who played with an extra man for more or less the entire game? some folk need to catch a grip

of course we are all frustrated with the results in the last week, and neil is certainly not blameless, but who the * would come in if we did something as crazy as sacking lennon? would you trust the people who hired mowbray to get it right?

neil united the support like never before last season yet a couple bad results and some folk are screaming for his head; mental and spoiled. the way i see it, neil has been badly let down by the board who have single handedly managed to * away the unity and goodwill we had at the end of last season by failing to back the manager with proper investment; if someone is ultimately to blame, blame the folk who appointed mowbray, the legacy of which neil is still dealing with, hindering his ability to properly develop a promising yet largely young and inexperienced squad.

    i'm backing neil. :50:

Have they really? I remember Rangers losing like 5 loan signings and have maybe, just maybe recovered the amount of players they've lost in loans/transfers this season. Difference being we knew what Diouf and Weiss are capable of. Not these new players that have "strengthened" their team. So that argument is not valid at this stage imo.

Also we have brought in 3? players, 2 possibly for the future and are looking to get a striker.

this ain't a nice guy competition , we are into, this is football and a manager player, recognizing a player, we have had Neil Lennon now going on 8 years and he still cant tell you, who he rates as a player , that tell me enough he doesn't know one, none of the top of his head. if you all think we have gems there, well only fool you. have a look around and you will notice. we have made no progress this year,

I was yelling at the TV for him to get to * but now I just feel sorry for him. I was just incredibly angry, it was shocking, I couldnt believe my eyes.

The way I feel about it is he's been shortchanged by the board. We desperately needed more players at least for coverage and depth and a bit more experience especially in the back and we haven't got it because of the market we're forced to work in because the board doesnt want to pay for transfer fees and wages.

Lenny needs more experience too its shockingly obvious he doesnt have a clue either in Europe but all the same I think he knows how to win the SPL and we still have a good chance of doing it this year becaues the huns aren't any better than we are right now..

    One Neil Lennon
