Should Lenny stay?

Lennon should walk if he has any dignity. Pure fucken shambles again tonight, and I can see us losing the league and them getting 4IAR if he stays.

 

Stay, but need to sort this team out quickly, The orks have overtaken us already this season.

 

Tonight showed that Neil Lennon is a rookie manager, who, at this time, is clearly out of his depth.

To call the performance, "brilliant", either shows he is dillusional, or he fears losing the dressing room by slating the players again - maybe a bit of both.

I really don't believe he has what it takes and for his own sake, I just hope he will recognise this fact.

 

The last thing we need right now is players losing faith in the manager or vice versa, so if he said that only to appease the players after a shocker of a performance, then so be it. If it helps get their confidence levels back up for the remainder of the title race this season, then so be it.

 

...And that is why he is a stronger man than you. He won't ever doubt himself and that is the strength you need to lead a club like Celtic. He will try his best to improve himself and the players after this.

 

The Europa League attacts no-one. Don't kid yourself on. Going out tonight is disappointing, sure, but the CL is the only attraction for players to come to the SPL.

We need to win the title and get back into the CL. Lenny will deliver the title this year. If he does, he deserves to stay. Simples!

Talk of Lennon going now is ridiculous,but going out of the Europa lge to a team we should have beaten cant be ignored and its maybe time the idea was revisited of a Director of Football to take some of the load. MON is still out there and it would give the team and support a boost and hopefully let Lennon deal with coaching the team to the SPL title Just an idea.

 

I dont think the poll merits an answer.Ask again if the league is out of sight.....i thought we were all convinced we were the best fans in the world! Lost 1 freaky game like both Rangers and Celtic do every season, went out of Europe to a decent team(not a great one i admit)that are 3rd in the Swiss league not 7th, and the end of the world is nigh!!!! Give it a rest...lets see the season get 15 games in before we start panicking!

 

We are, undoubtedly. Unfortunately, it doesn't mean that we don't have our fair share of moaners and greeters amongst our ranks, as is clear to see every time something doesn't go our way.

I'm glad the poll is one sided. It didn't seem that way earlier on with all the threads popping up, but I guess it shows the nutters are more prevalent than the sensible ones.

 

Sacking Lennon now would be the wrong move. If we lose the League, then perhaps. Let's see what we do before the window slams shut. We need to improve on the players we have for sure.

It just shows you how fragile the managers job is these days. Astounding that this question is being asked IMO.
