If Lennon wants to recreate the fearsome Varga - Balde partnership, Shittu and Maj would fit the bill, it's a big yes from me

We should bring back Scheidt and pair him up with this fella.

It's easy to say no thanks but we don't have many options just now. I'd love for Hooiveld to work out with Maj but it remains to be seen whether that partnership will work. Rogne's not exactly the best at staying fit and still has development time ahead of him and Loovens hasn't exactly been showering himself in glory.

We have the money to take a punt on a year's contract, so why not? Transfer window's closed, frees are our best bet and Shittu, possibly Demerit and the never fit Chris Riggott (about to sign for Cardiff) are the best options in the free market.

Shittu has shown himself to be uncomposed at times and has been out of favour for a long time but so was Titus Bramble once and now he's one of the most consistent defenders in the Premiership.

    What's to lose?

Squad players are not what we need.

Might be worth a trial at least. The SPL might be his level.

Exactly, way may think his performances are below par, but when his only threats are the likes of James Beattie or John Sutton, I cant see a risk at all....
