What happened to Tony Mowbrays principles of attacking football,that was anti-football * of the highest order,think he's cracked under the pressure of the job and lost the plot completely!Too many of our players saunter lazily about the pitch thinking their superstars when the truth is they just look like a lazy bunch of mediocre *!

 

I'm afraid that on that display we seem to have moved backwards,when we started to play the ball around in the first half i expected us to really hammer them. 2-1 is totally unacceptable from what are highly paid players.The only player who seemed to any passion was McGeady.And yet again it's our defensive frailtys that have us fuming.

Surely if every single Celtic fan can see we have issues in defence, then the manager must. I really think in January that the defence has to be sorted.

I'm upset at the performance by the Hoops tonight, but I'm a realist, and I'm not going to join in the chorus of blame. Tony Mowbray cannot be held fully responsible for this result, he did after all inherit this team from Strachan, his two signings were the best two players in Celtic shirts imho, I agree I was dumbfounded by his tactic of 1 up front but that didn't cost us the game, complacency did. We were in cruise control and no one watching that game could be forgiven for believing Celtic were going to win it easy. Shít happens, but I was equally dissapointed on saturday as I thought we should have walked that game also. The simple truth is Celtic are a poor squad, and the sooner people come to this realisation the less the dissapointments will be over the coming months, Mowbray needs to build a squad, will the board give him the funds to do so I doubt it very much.

To get back to my original point though this guys racist post should not be acceptable to this forum, thier straight from the follow follow mob whom we all know only too wel for the deep seated racism, action shopuld be taken to halt this type of post.

I called this at work today, before the game I would have taken a point in a minute. Celtic are playing some nice stuff, but up front we are * terrible, excuse the lanuage. Samaras took his goal well, but instead of pushing for a 2nd & 3rd we fannyed about as if O'Neill was in charge. Hapoel never got their finger out in the 1st half and we should have punished them, but we didn't, and we paid the price, a humiliating defeat to a pub team.

I think I get at what Mowbray is trying to do, but the Celtic players just aren't executing his orders good enough, and it's the players who should be getting their balls felt, not Mowbray.

Pass marks only for Boruc, Fox, McGeady, Samaras & possibly Maloney. Not good enough in Europe, Hamburg & Vienna will pump us all ways if we're not careful. Remember, Hapoel are not bottom seeds for no reason, and they beat us, I'm worried.

As for that * who brought McGeady down, how was he not sent off?? The ref got that wrong big time.
