Yeah, from what I've seen Ono could be a really good signing for Celtic, such a great prospect. And like a few others have said, a fellow countryman in midfield with Nakamura couldn't harm us - and possibly a good bit of interest again this year from over in Asia.

If any of you watched Ono in the Japan v Scotland game, you'd have noticed that it was Scotland vs Ono. He was a 1 man team. He has fantastic ability, i'd love to see him at Celtic

aye hes good i agree. Fletcher was giving compliments about him on the papers too. but he gets injured so easy and often. i dont think hes suitable for SPL. even IF celtic sign him, loads of fans would say he cant tackle, hes too lightweight... i just dont see him playing in spl.

Great movement, great touch. We were linked with him a few months ago I remember and I would love to see him at Celtic Park. How much would he cost though? And much do you think we will spend this season on transfer fees alone?

If he cost 2.5million - 3million it would be a good move, hes class can dictate games, and is quite strong also from the games ive watched.

    naka - ono - keane - maloney
    zurawski - someone!!

Class, i rate ono more than petrov tbh people might not agree.

    Ono, M.Petrov or Fletcher?

He looked good but then i read that he was v.prone to injury. You've got to think if Keane stays he too will miss games. Is this ideal? I watched both Scotland's games and Petrov of Bulgaria looked good too and we've been linked with him but he had a bit of an attitude. TBH Fletcher was immense against Bulgaria and he might be available, he is a genuine Scottish prospect, a level above the Wilson, Riordans of the world IMO.

Petrov is exactly the type of player Celtic could really do with next year. He's certainly not scared to have a go at goal from distance and looks like he could be the sort of player who could still score even when the team is in a slump.
