    Aye. When I watched his videos that's what sprang to mind.

    Same height, similar stocky build, presses and is aggressive, has obviously shown he can score goals before.

    I read that they got a new manager for this season who is more defensive and apparently impacted his form. It's very much worth the risk.

    I also still think we will sign another striker.

    Was against this signing from the off purely for the simple reason that his surname instantly made me think, ‘yer mad da’ - and now I can’t unsee/hear it every time.

    Someone made a good point recently in that had we signed him in January, this place would be buzzing.

    At that point, we'd be signing him off the back of 19 goals and 4 assists in 38 league matches. Excellent stats.

    Clearly hasn't worked out for him this season but it does look like they've changed manager, which can always make a big difference.

    As a third choice ST on paper, its a shrewd signing imo.

    I’m never done trying to make they jokes, but when the majority somehow think it’s pronounced anything like fitting into that ‘Tequila’ song, I fight a losing battle. :56:

    Some Japanese journalist reported that Yamada had offers from the Bundesliga and chose Celtic. I don’t know the details, but that’s good if true.
