    he knocked us back now wee dont need him as forster is doing great. though newcastle will wanting him back because of there injury crises it looks this deal is more likely to happen. plus the added bonus that hes twice the keeper of forster and alot more experiance and could win us that 7pts more and the title. come home given:icon_mrgreen:

    Forster may get recalled by the Mags?????????? Get Given in -he would be an excellent asset for us.
    Agree with Sonny7 he will save us points!!!!!!! So long as we go toe to toe with the huns up to Xmas then this would make sense to me.
    Re-inforce our title bid, whilst McShagger goes to pastures new.

    Forsters done nothing wrong but as the article says, he will be called back at the new year due to Harpers long term injury, id much rather have Shay than Zaluska

    Forster isnt being recalled, He was only here on a 6 month loan deal. Would be happy with either of them in Jan. Would be happy if Newcastle let Forster stay for the rest of the season.

    I think we should get him regardless of Forster.. Forster has been great for us, including today! Though nothing wrong with adding more quality to the squad. I still think we'll sign Westwood on a pre-contract in january.

    It sounds to me as though theres doubt over whether Forsters here permanently

    Newcastle will take him back in Jan because hes playing well and we cant afford to buy him outright

    so if theres any chance Given can come up then go for it

    well watched the newcastle game last night and thier number 2 is pish, if the newcastle manager has seen how big forrester has been playing then he will be back at the toon in jan time

    also to the above post we only have the big man till next summer would be the same sort of loan deal if given came into the club....

    if he has to go in jan then given would be welcomed with open arms, also people are forgetting he would take a pay cut also a chance to win a title aswell and some cups..... am sure he would go for it
