Shaun Maloney rejoins Celtic

If he is banging them in and being class, then I couldn't care less if he wiped his * on a Celtic shirt as he left. Give the boy a fresh go at it.....!

 

people are slating him for running to the EPL when they came knocking, but doesn't anyone else think that Maloney's past experience may keep McGeady at CP longer if an EPL team comes in for him as he knows he may seriously regret it like Maloney does now.

I dont agree with Skippy & Maloney up front together, 1 or the other for me with Samaras or VoH partnering them

* joke he probably wont get a game for us, he hasnt been the same player he was for years now and i feel yet again we shown no ambition with this signing. our squad is stronger but our starting 11 is no different which * me off. not one player we have signed will walk in to the team. i think were goin to struggle to get 4 in a row this year.

His return will give us a well needed boost, our midfield has been pretty dour in terms of pace and creativity.

The way some people go on you would think they had never made a bad decision in there lives...... i watched his press conference and he didn't disguise the fact he made a mistake leaving Celtic, it takes a big man to sit in front eh all that press and cameras and hold there hands up.....lets not go embarrassing ourselves and booing our own players like them across the road, we just don't need that, get behind the BHOY.......

We've had about half a dozen ex huns in the side since Strachan took over and your booing Maloney? a tim who made a mistake, went down for the bright lights then almost immediately started angling to return? Makes no sense to me, but hey, knock yourself out.

 

I'll welcome Maloney back no problem.

McGeady and Maloney vying for the same position can only bring the best out in both of them.

Having said that, Maloney can also play a more central role in the team. Both McGeady and Maloney playing in the same side when both are on their game will be excellent for Celtic.

The guy's admitted that he's made a mistake in leaving and when at Villa it was clear that something was missing from his game, he never settled.

At least he's had the bottle to admit he f*cked up, so lets all have a bit of Faith in the Management and the Player.
