    Kyogo. A phenomenon

Also says he's willing to take a cut in wages as well - if true, should put to rest some of the abuse he's gotten over the years about being a money-grabbing b^stard...

It was also on Clyde 1 radio this morning that a one million pound fee had been agreed. So it looks like he should be making a return.
I dont mind him coming back especially if he is taking a wage cut and apologises for thinking the grass is greener away from celtic.

I dont think he needs to apologise ...he went and tried his hand somewhere else and didnt work out .....I would have done the same thing in his shoes ...i mean it was MON that gave him his chance ..A lot of players follow their manager around club to club :shamrock:

Do you and your sidekick actually believe the pish you both come out with ? Or are you at the wind up ? Genuinely thick ?

Maloney is not a world class player (potentially or otherwise). If he was we might have seen some indication of it by now.

He has talent, no doubt about it, but let's be realistic.

How can you say MON gave him his chance? Fair enuf he gave him his first start but he didnt really give him a chance. The player that we all remember, and the player that left, was given his chance by WGS. If it wasnt for WGS then Shaun would prob still be kicking his heels on the bench and have a permnament Celtic Tracksuit on.

And he does have to apologise IMO. He left saying he had to go to Villa to further his football. So what are we, just a wee back up club when his real path in football has been blocked. Get him to F*&K

If I had never made a bad decision in my life I would give him pelters. But as it is, I would be glad to see him back - provided hes played in the right place.

Will all of you holier than thou righteous men who have never made a bad decision in your life have a wee word with JC and tell him to pardon all us mere mortals?

Would be good to get Maloney back but will he be the same player? When he was here 1st time around i thought he was going to be something special but 19 months of benchwarming and training in the same team as Marlon Harewood can't be good.

If he is still as sharp as before this could be a tidy piece of business and WGS seems to be able to get the best out of him.

Ah see, that is where the problem lies. If you make a bad decision and it upsets people that who thought you were the bees knees, at the point when you realise it was a bad decision you apologise to those who you affected.

The wee * should be crawling up on his knees to CP telling every passing Celtic Fan that he is so sorry. Then, and maybe only then, will I welcome him back. Each to their own though.

i think this will be the best signing we've made in years. he's a cracking player and all those who have been calling him judas or a money grabbing * will be eating their words at the end of the season. i'll be over the moon if he re signs for us

I was raging when he left and I dont think he will ever have a season like WGS's first at the club, he was immense that year. What won us the league that year was the luxuary of being able to swap around McGeady and Maloney, defenders couldnt cope with that. It would be a great thing for us to get that option back, but I think McGeady has rubber stamped his place in the team by now. Good thing about Maloney is that he can play in a few positions, up front, both wings, behind the strikers or a striker which would be useful for us because you need as many options as possible. If it was for £1 million and no more, then I would take him back - He'll have to do some grovelling for us to completley forgive him though, a couple of goals against the hun scummery should do it - Take the wee man back

As a Villan myself, it's a shame to see him go, didn't really get a fair crack at Villa to be fair. But I'm happy that he's going back to Celtic and he does deserve a second chance. Like a few people have said, everybody makes mistakes, and they deserve the chance to redeem themself. He may have joined Villa to put himself more in the spotlight, but it was as clear as day that when he got here he missed home and wanted to go back.. sometimes you only realise things when you don't have them anymore, and I think that's what Maloney has found out, he aint happy away from Celtic!
