    Stupid money for a championship player who has only had one decent season. Still, they are entitled to ask for what they want. We would want considerably more for any of our top assets and they're proven only in the SPHell.

    Sounds like the way to go. Punt Ras & Sami, as these two will bring in the most £s and bring in 2 far superior STs - although unsure about Long, as I haven't seen enough of him.

    Off topic I would also do somethins similar with the keepers - bring in Stipe and swap Zaluska for Sandomierski.

    That combined with 2 new STs, possibly Mphela and a Bellamy-esque sort and we'd be in great shape!

    Although, again slightly off topic, I'd still like to see proper back up to Kayal brought in...

    Completely agree. If we managed to get Pletikosa and Sandomierski with Zaluska going the other way that would sort the keeper situation for a good few years.

    And bringing in Mphela and Musona whilst punting 2 or 3 of Murphy, Ras and Sammy would also give us four goalscorers upfront.

    Hopefully Wanyama will prove good enough to cover CB and Kayal's position.

    i think Samaras is the key for us to bring in two strikers as he is the striker with the biggest resale value and on the biggest wages compared to Rasmussen or Murphy. however, i just don't think he'll be moved on unfortunately. i wouldn't mind keeping Rasmussen or Murphy for 5th choice. i'd love two new strikers.

    as for the goalkeeping situation. getting those two in would complete our goalkeeping situation for the next 5 years minimum. however, i don't think Sandomierski would come to sit on the bench if Pletikosa outshines them for the first season. would love for Pletikosa and Sandomierski for our number one and two but i just don't see it happening.

    as for a substitute for Kayal, i believe Wanyama will flourish into that.

    all in all i think we need 4 players to complete the perfect squad. however, realistically it won't happen. we'll get two in :54:

    Agreed, we're so far off topic I actually had to check which player the OP was referring to before replying to your post. :icon_mrgreen:

    Still can't believe Reading have put an £8m fee on Longs head though, especially as he only has 1 year to run on his contract. Unbelievable!!! Personally unless they lower the fee, I can see him staying put and signing a pre-contract with ANother!

    Although £8million does sound mental if he was on a bosman you could bet 3/4 of the Premiership would be after him. It think from bottom all the way up to Spurs and Liverpool would consider him on a bosman.
