Very likeable and honest man. Really hope he can kick on from the last positive few days.

No question for me what was most encouraging yesterday other then the win was that we looked very solid defensively as a team but especially the back 4. Jullien and Duffy looked strong at centre back and Ajer was a deserved MOTM at right back. Taylor did fine at left back although I would go with Laxalt. Hazard had next to nothing to do in goal but did what he had to confidently. For me I would stick with this back 4 just as I would stick with Soro and Turnbull in central midfield. We need some continuity as well if we really are to build some strong momentum from the past 2 games.

Am I missing this anti Irish abuse on Duffy? Honestly not seen it and makes me wonder if I'm missing the sarcasm in this post Bobo.

Wondering, we all know we have had issues with Covid, injuries etc (none of it excuses the poor form as every game we have been able to field a strong team regardless), but these past couple games, is this the first time we have actually seen two natural CBs in the backline this season? (As in a back 4)

Ajer being a cm made in to a cb and many thinking(with good reasons) that he would be better back in a holding midfield role, or even now right back (where he has filled in many times and always done well).

I ask, because maybe this can explain a more organised and sensible approach to the backline these past two games and a more favourable couple of performances for Duffy now.

The Big difference From him and Lennon, we play absolutely * Lennon comes on saying how excellent we were, big Duffy comes on he’s played * and Is just honest and admit s he’s been utter *, people and Celtic fans respect that , it’s Lennon s bullshit and taking the fan’s for mugs that irritates and anger s people

Clearly the guy is a far better player than he's shown so far.

He's been really poor up until the last couple of game's, no question. We do now have to factor in how * awful our shape, defence (including keeper's) and midfield protection has been though.....as well as player's downing tool's and Jullien being out..

Let's be honest. A lot of player's would've struggled with all of that..

I've ripped him to shreds on here but I liked that interview. No muggy insta quotes after a shocker. Just telling it like it is after what was a pretty good/confident performance by him..

Yes, been * poor mostly, but hopefully he can kick on.
Agree about new midfield giving better protection the noo.

I think he was maybe hinting at his Dad passing away in that interview as what messed his head up a bit, said it's been a tough year for him.. Could tell he was proud to sign for Celtic but maybe it brought out a lot of emotion and affected his focus, which is understandable.

That on top of what you've mentioned it really isn't a surprise he's struggled to find his feet. Hopefully he's settled a bit now and finds some form.

A old school, no nonsense defender. That's him. No frills. Doesn't surprise me that he's happier and showing his true form with Julien another cb, not makeshift CDM beside him. Also, having a fully mobile structured CM helps as well. Long may his recent improvements continue.

Plus the fact we finally have someone in the team in Turnbull who can actually deliver good set pieces on a consistent basis means we should see the best from both Duffy and Jullien in the opposition box as well and given the amount of set pieces we get domestically that could be huge for us.

We have all probably played football in our lives, whether it be just a kick about in the park or at a higher level, and we all know if we have been pish or not. So, I take my hat of to the big guy for his honesty and unwillingness to bullshit the fans and appreciate it far more than the manager saying we have been "brilliant" when we all know we have been *.
