Be all for it meself pal. Jullien and welsh or Ajer, Jullien, welsh. But I think duffy could be fine in there beside Jullien tbh. But would personally rather go back to a back 4 with only 2cbs. We seem to concede more when we have 3cbs on. Back 4 of laxalt, Ajer, Jullien and elhamed/frimpong.

Best scenario for everyone really. Not doing his reputation any good up here.

Or ours, I’ll admit I thought he would shore up our weak defence, but how wrong was I?

We all thought he would be great for us as he played in the so called "best league in the world" and would skoosh it up here but sadly no.

I watched him play up here for foyle harps and the north youth setups, he was always tall and good in the air - as for passing ability, defending on the turn were big no nos, always dubious for a mistake or too. He done well in a tough victory shield game. At the time david moyles was either watching the game or watching it on sky he did ok, threat from corners etc - anyhow everton offered him a deal... at the time john egan was a much better prospect (in my opinion)… obv john is getting a game each week for sheff utd - if they get relegated I would cert try and go for him - great attitude, gets stuck in, can pass the ball and a good age.

It’ll be a contract I think mate. When everyone was saying, and hoping, he would be away in January I did think it was meant to be a season long loan.......*!!!!

Most people are clever enough to put a clause in such an expensive deal just in case it all goes * up.

Just another example of Lawwell needlessly losing us millions, but when he buys a player from Motherwell he saves £100k so it's all good.

Guy is such a * fraud man.

Can we not pay part of his wages to go back to Brighton for the rest of the season.
Might be a first in professional football & set a benchmark, where we loan a player back that’s on loan to us.

    Lawwell get to fuck
I was under no illusions about his limitations, I have seen him play many times for Ireland.

However, I did not believe he would be this poor.

I thought he'd offer us much needed presence in the air and a constant threat in the box from set pieces. Oddly, his first few games seemed to play out like that. You even had some pundits claiming he'd get 15 goals this season from headers.

In fairness to him, our entire defence is being exposed because of the poor structure in our team. This has made him look even worse than he is imo.

Does anyone genuinely believe the two Hun CBs are that much better than Duffy?

If you put the two Hun CBs into our starting XI we'd still have conceded a * load of goals this season, and the CBs would have been dragged into many panicked mistakes.

I think Duffy would look better in a better coached side as his limitations would not be exposed and his strengths could be better utilised.

Look at big Helander that plays for them, slow as a week in the jail but plays to his strengths and has looked great this season.

Duffy thought he'd skoosh it up here and he's been shown up, he's our joey Barton.

I honestly hope tonight is the final nail in his Celtic career and he never darkens our doors again.
