    Harsh on Julien imo, who’s still our best centre back for me, and a very good goal threat in his own right.

    Thought there were a number of players who could’ve picked up the MOTM award today without any one really being head and shoulders above the rest.

    Just knew he would get a goal today. Missed the second half but you could see he's not up to speed yet. Just glad to have a cb that just gets in about everything.

    Dominant in both boxes, and just adds a bit of steel to the side. I hope we can keep Ajer for another season because that back line looks pretty good. I do wonder whether Julien is better on the right with Duffy in the centre organising things though.

    Battering any thing or * out of their road is something we’ve been missing from a centre half for a long, long, time. Offensively and defensively.

    Hopefully that single performance put to bed the myth he’s * on the ball as well. He’s been a Premiership defender for years, he’s plenty good enough with his distribution and decision making on the ball.
