    Interesting that @TransferBhoy is saying a loan but others saying Brighton are willing to do a permanent with us paying £1.25 million per year for 4 years as we don’t want to pay the £5 mill up front.

    Brighton apparently willing to grant Duffy his move here for his loyalty over the years.

    With the figures been mentioned for the loan £2 million plus paying his full wages of about £40k per week which is another £2 million for the season. I would have hoped we would be more willing to do the permanent deal if that scenario was genuine rather than paying £4 million approx for just one season.

    It is a loan deal with no option to make it permanent for now but that may change.

    We have managed to negotiate the £2m loan fee and will be paying less than what’s been quoted.

    Wages are not being covered in full. We are paying between 40-50% of his wages.

    No idea if these revelations are true or not, professionally I would hope they aren't, However if they are true - Great it looks like someone who is, allegedly, going to be in our dressing room shortly has an adviser/someone very close to them who has a big mouth and craves attention.. that doesn't bode well for the coming months.
