    That would be a sweet deal.

    Barkas more likely to be on wages similar to what Craig Gordon was on.

    Think we were prepared to pay a decent chunk of FF’s wage packet to bring him here again on loan. That expenditure could be used to bring Duffy in although I’m making it sound a lot simpler than it probably is.

    Anytime I have watched Duffy I’ve been impressed with his sheer effort and desire to defend. He is exactly what we need.

    Aye, the wage bill has been chopped quite a bit already.

    Gordon £25k, Jozo £20k, Hayes £10k, Kouassi £15k, Sinclair £35k, Morgan £6k then whatever % we were paying of Forster's wage (at a conservative estimate you could say £20k)

    That's £131k per week slashed off the last 4-5 months.

    Klimala and Soro won't be on big money coming from Poland and Israel, Barkas has probably commanded a decent wage given he's a Greek international. We should still have a little room to play and that's before any people go out.

    As much as Jullien and Ajer have their bad moments, they are both in excellent at their best. Hopefully Jullien stays for a while and Ajer is due to bring in some big money.

    Having the 3 of them would be unreal.

    Having Ajer, Jullien, Duffy, Elhamed and Bitton as your 5 options with 3 at the back would be superb. A blend of everything in those options with most importantly a big destroyer in both boxes in Duffy.

    The defense ruined Christie's moment of magic. And Ajeti seems to be not much taller than Klimala (probably a similar type of striker), who did score once from a bench appearance. I think we have good enough forwards. The fee we will have spent on Ajeti could've secured us Duffy on loan at least.

    We don’t have good enough forwards.

    Eddy is our only striker at the moment who we know is both good enough, and reliable enough fitness wise. Klimala is a project and Griff usually misses half the season through injury.

    And saying Ajeti is probably similar to Klimala because they’re roughly the same height is quite a take.
