Just not clinical enough. Could have been 5-1 on another night. But we dominated them for 70mins away from home, a team that battered Leipzig last week, and if we just have a bit more composure we are going to do well in this group.

Really wish we could find a way to get Kyogo & GG into the same team.

Kyogo suits our style of play better, but GG looked a serious goal threat when he came on. He's a proper old school center forward with good finishing instincts. I know it probably wouldn't work from a tactical pov, but it's a shame tbh. If he was on the pitch for longer tonight, I think he would have scored.

Madrid 1-0 makes this result bit better to take

Yeah I get that as well, I said the same to my old man, could prove an opportunity missed.

I'm hoping we take it as a lesson and are more ruthless in the games ahead, as performances across the last 5 games have been impeccable, just noticed the difference in quality when it comes to CL opposition where we've been punished.

ANY points away from home in the CL is a result, for ANY team.

Understand the frustration, and certainly I think the players will be feeling it too, but 2 games in we look a side thats not to be * with.

Madrid winning is good. At the end of the day we're still in it and I believe we are good enough to battle hard for 2nd. I think European Football after Christmas will be decided by the home game against Shaktar which I think we will win.

Good away performance in the CL and a point. Can’t complain too much but we really need to be more clinical. We deserved the 3 points tonight.

4 points from RB now is an absolute must plus beating Shakhtar at home, that will secure 2nd place assuming Madrid win all 3 of their next games. I really dont wanna go to madrid needing a result or a favour from one of the other 2 in the last game.

so many chances, we need to be more clinical or it will cost us, Kyogo and Giakoumakis both had great chances and missed, their guy had 1 chance and scored it, thats the level we need to be at if we want to compete in europe.

Should have started Abada, or at least brought him on at half time.

His goalscoring record isn't down to luck, he's one of our best finishers. We missed him for most of that game.

We still ain't creating enough goal scoring opportunities ,(granted tonight Jacko and maeda spurned 2) the majority of the chances we get ain't clear cut. our wingers need to be a lot more precise in the final third rather than just sticking it in the box. If we could find that extra bit of quality it would make up for the fact we are wide open at the back.
I hope to * abildgaard is gonna offer a bit of protection to the defence ,it's infuriating watching us toiling like * to score then the opposition waltzing up the field and sticking one away

I disagree some of them are on a plate or we make a wrong creative decision in build up play so wasteful even though we are so direct

It was a good point and I am satisfied. But we should have had all three.

    we ha d plenty..
    we didn't finish

Juranovic is not fast enough at CL level. or maybe he should concentrate on defending - not attacking

Not going to say I'm not disappointed not to take all 3 points because we deserved too but a point away from home in Europe is still a decent result.

We were once again brilliant last night, albeit from maybe a 15min spell at the end of the first half. The constant press and attacking football away from home in Europe was great to see, something we have never really seen from a Celtic side in the Champions League.

That being said, it's hard not to think of it as 2 points dropped, multiple chances created to take all 3. Makes it a bit better with Real Madrid getting the job done against Leipzig.

Maeda though just does not have it at this level, yes the chances that fell to him were not the easiest but his attempt at the overhead kick, even without the defender in the way, was not troubling their keeper and his second one, I still believe he should be doing better.

Still, it speaks volumes that we are all one here probably very disappointed with a point away from home in CL, shows how far we have come in a very short period of time.

    Up the Celts.

Gutted we did not win that, and im just trying to feel good about getting 1 point, which in all honesty is a decent result i would gladly take before the game.
