Sevco are favourites next week

Let’s face it. We’re gonna gift them at least 3 absolute gilt edged chances, probably outta nothing. We give every team at least that many.
So we need to have our shooting boots on.

 

Thing is, if we do beat them it will be their first defeat under super steve (providing they avoid getting beat the next two games).

If that happens it will stop the momentum dead, the old doubt sets in of previous seasons, it will mentally crush them again and we could potentially see the stevie gee express train wheels come off sooner than we thought.

Without a doubt...he's been getting them through games though.
But ..that will only last so long.

 

I'd agree they are favourites going into the game as things stand. I've seen all of our games and a few of theirs and my assessment is, there defence (inc. GK) is superior to ours, Morelos is playing well and we look weak, slow and dysfunctional.

It's an absolute shambles that we have let it get as close as they in such a short space of time. They * have had a good window but if we had strengthened the area we had to, then we would have maintained the gap.

Huge pressure on Brendan and the players to pull themselves together and get back to firing on all cylinders like we did in Brendans first season! And a couple of new faces will go a long way in rejuvenating the squad.

Would you have Morelos before Dembele or Eduaord? or any of their midfielders for any of ours, bung in Tierney and even if you are right about their other defenders being superior to ours that still makes our team man for man far stronger so no idea unless you disagree with my assumptions that you can think Sevco are favourites, bung in the fact theyve never beaten us since they reformed and that makes them clear outsiders in my book...they are also flying back from central Russia 2 days before...that can only be an added benefit to us

 

I'm as furious about the lack of transfers and getting knocked out of the champions league as anyone but get * real sevco are pish we could still play as poorly as we have and beat them,if we play well we will hammer them

 

Let's be honest our current team better get its * in order, as whether we sign 0 or 4 it won't make one iota of a difference as Brendan always seems to come out with the famous lacking match fitness thing so there won't be any new faces anyway for this game.
