To be honest iv not seen any hun action so i have no idea how they are playing, but i am worried about us and how we are starting out this season, yes its a long way to go but if BR does not sort his * out we would be in trouble....i think the treble this year will be * as will any hope of doing well in europa as we seem to be * bent on having one of the worst defences in europe.
I don't know what is going on at our club but why the * did our manager refuse 9 million for a player who does not want to be here and why the * did the club not say...look sell him and use the 9 million to replace with 1 or 2 players......its like * hour.

I'm using bet365, 1.16 celtic 6.00 rangers. I guess the only real value bet at the minute is betting without celtic and the huns r at 1.40 and aberdeen 5.00. Jamie Maclaren 26.00 top goal soccer is also decent since favourites Edouard/Dembele are always getting injured and that nasty hun merelos will get suspended at least 2-3 games.

Hendry cost me money last week for his * defending, had 2.5 overs, griffiths to score and us to keep a clean sheet- silly me for under estimating the great attacking power of the mighty partick thistle lol

We are clearly favourites...thats not in question despite all the bluster but by the same token odds around 6-1 for Sevco are not right either, Id say 5/2 or 3/1 is more of a realistic price...

minty, never open a bookies my friend and if you do then please let me know because i'd be down there like a rat up a drain pipe!!

People are becoming irrational here with regards to them and falling for this spin that's coming from all sides. They've 3 away games now in 9 days....i think they'll win Sunday (easier game than Kille away for me), Europe is in the balance and what a journey they've got then they come to us who will be better rested. They've tightened at the back, no doubt, but if we score first i think we can rack up 3/4 easy. If they get through in Europe and take something from our place then i will sit up and take some notice. Till then i'm really not bothered about them.

However, we really need to get our * together on the park never mind the nonsense off it....now would be an ideal time for us to click into gear. If we turn up there's only one winner!! Can't wait!!

I think they'll score against us but i expect us to get a few!!

Dembele, Rogic, Forrest, Sinclair vs Morelos, Candeias, Kent and Lafferty.

That is a humongous gulf in class. I'd deny what you say entirely. We just need to kick the * into gear.

What does 'in the long run ' mean ? Are saying you genuinely believe while Lawell is here they will win the league more often than us ?

    * i just went to write out a team selection for next week and honestly shuddered, its worse on paper.

    Hendry
    Lustig
    Jozo out
    Boyata out
    Ajer
    Gamboa
    Izzaguire
    Tierney
    Compper

Surely its go 3-5-2 with tierney and forrest as wingbacks, eddy and dembele up top, brown, ntcham and rogic in midfield, but who as the back 3? 4231 is absolute murder at the minute and leaves the lone striker far too isolated.
Team BR picks will probably be

    Gamboa--ajer-----hendry---tierney
    -----------brown-----ntcham-------
    Forrest--------rogic---------mcgregor
    ---------------dembele----------

That defense is giving me the fear.

For those who are in love.....
It isn't even close. Edouard back hopefully as well comparable to Sadiq. Lol..

Ntcham and Broony injury free, * over anything they have in the middle..

They will be confident and so they should be. They've picked up some good results..

Breaking it down though. We've got a * easy tie at home to even chop a few about and still win easily. They've got to go to Russia and still a bit of work to do in the middle of nowhere on a plastic pitch. I know who I'd rather be..

Then they've got to come to us a couple of day's after they arrive back. It's a nightmare for them and a tie they could've done with finishing last night, or done without..

I've seen them about 3 time's and they've slightly improved defensively but I've seen their last 2 European away game's where they've got results. It wasn't for great defending. It was for McGregor when they were bombarded in Croatia, or saving 1 on 1's and penalties in Slovenia..

Our midfield and attack, on our perfect big pitch...will cause their back line all kindsa trouble. A back line that isn't particularly quick, Katic and that Barisic mainly left side are slow. Tavernier is Tavernier and * easy to exploit..

Their big main striker Morelos looks like he wants to end his life anytime he faces us and the whole crowd is mocking him..

No way are they favourites against us at Celtic Park. In fact I hope they feel they are. We'll skelp them if they hold a high line and go for it..

We'll likely have a first team centre back in by then as well minimum. Would be tempted to unleash Arzani on them also..

we'll be fine as long as they dont shoot or cross balls into the box ( applicable to every team for the foreseeable future ):54:

I've watched Sevco a few times,i really dont get the feeling that they are a great team, maybe its because we are so bad it makes it worse than it is.

The goals they have scored a majority of them have been very bad defensive errors and then tapped in. Harvey runs about like a headless chicken as will Lafferty. The defence is a little better than last year, but teams with any quality will break that down very easy, the problem is that the media are also making them out to be worldbeaters and with the state we are in then again it makes it 100 times worse.

Even with a * team atm,we should do them comfortably.

They don't have a better team, but they might be a bit more solid defensively and have a bit more confidence about them. Probably depends on how well we perform against the Suds next week. I'm going for a cautious 2-1 win or at least a scoring draw just now, though.

I hope and doubt nobody is actually suggesting they are a great team but only the most blinkered and biased Celtic fan would run away with the idea that they have i not mproved since last season, the only debate at this point is by how much?

The fact we have clearly regressed since the summer and look poorer in defence by the game can only make people more doubtful of the outcome than when the teams last met.

Last season domestically we were indeed sluggish and poor alot of the time and mainly only showed our quality in the big games, I am hopeful that will be the case this time...we need a big performance and result now big time and as arrogant as it may sound Im half expecting it next week
